First point here, Skip story is a pivotal plot point for Hollanov. Without Skip, there is no cottage, no I love yous and them not getting officially together. If you watched the entire first season and not caught that, I'm afraid you missed the main point that is them having another queer player that inspires them to be themselves. Troy is also this important point for Ilya. Seeing Troy and Harris be together and out, reminded Ilya that he wanted that and could pursue it.

Look, I adore Hollanov with all my heart and they are obviously the protagonists, but having other queer stories playing on the side it is important not only for Hollanov storyline but also for the representation of the entire queer community that sees the show. Having this many queer characters in a show that is so incredibly popular is groundbreaking.

Give me not only Shane and Ilya, but also Troy, Harris, Kyle, Eric, Ryan, Fabian, Fabian's circle of friends, Wyatt's sister and her wife, Scott, Kip... fill my screen with the happy queer people that I been longing to see since I was a confused teen.

Someone talk to me about how crazy the foreplay at the cottage must go because they have TIME. Look, we all know this is true. But there isn't a SOURCE for this, and the graph itself is basically illegible beyond "ooh colors". If we want to be good stewards of our informational resources, we need to cite our sources.

From a reverse image search, I found the website Show Your Stripes, run by the University of Reading in the UK, which is likely where the above graph originated. It provides temperature data for various regions of the world from approximately 1900-2025. For example, here are graphs for Canada, India, and Papua New Guinea:

All clearly show a sharp rise in temperature beginning around approximately the 1980s, which corresponds with the graph in OP's post. But now we know where this data came from, and we can verify its validity accordingly.
