IMAGINARIUM!

I tried a new mindset. Best put as: "Production > Consumption." Production is how we exercise our creative muscle. Sadly, with the advent of such powerful entertainment, we have become consumption ZOMBIES! How exactly? Well, we spend our times watching things others have filmed. Reading things others have written. Playing things others have created. Listening to things others have made. Using things others have crafted. And I could keep going, but hopefully you get the point. Just like the most repeated word in this paragraph, we have become zombies, automatically consuming... THINGS. This is how we paralyze our creative muscle. And just like any cliche zombie, our creativity's heartbeat soon ceases to exist. To prevent such an epidemic I sprinted to the other spectrum. And that is when life became magical. HOW I BECAME AN IMAGINATION WIZARD: 1.) "Production > Consumption." Realize that no matter what happens, the things YOU create are far superior to things others create. Superior because just like your fingerprint, only you can create what you create. Producing something from as complex as a New York Times bestseller book to as simple as a change in your fashion style, is essentially connected to the same creative muscle. So whatever happens keep creating. The more you create, the more you become creative. It's that simple. 2.) Keep Creating. But what do you create? You create whatever you do not find. You create the perfect song because you cannot find it anywhere. You create the perfect novel because you cannot find it anywhere. You might be thinking: "Hey! This guy is talking solely about arts again." Hold your horses, buddy. What happens if you are not an artist, and are just trying to find a way to pass your complicated math class that is taught by the most monotonous creature ever made. You guessed it! You create the best way to teach yourself Calculus 1B because you cannot find it anywhere. 3.) "Production > Consumption." By now you might have forgotten the first step. Let me really drill it in this time. Here is the experiment I tried and suggest any young padawan. Whenever you consume something, find a way to exercise your creative muscle after. This is just like eating a heavy meal, and then going to exercise to burn off calories. We consume so much, that the creative rooms in our imaginarium mansions are clogged up with foreign mental calories. So this is why we keep exercising. And just like physical exercise starting off after a huge overload might be rough and nearly impossible. But practice will make better. 4.) Create. Now once you keep exercising, it will become like second nature. And with creative exercises, your mind will start to do something magical. It will start thinking supernaturally... automatically. There will come a time, when other people will see only two options to a problem, but you will see 34 solutions. They will call you crazy or insane, but you won't ever get depressed because you will know that you are a wizard. So there you go, a happy life with no depression and ultimate power to keep leaping in directions others cannot even perceive What are you waiting for! Go CREATE!
