Just because we’re not writhing on the floor doesn’t mean we’re not hurting. We’ve just gotten really good at hiding it and functioning with it, otherwise we’d literally starve in our beds.

When you get a random spike of intense pain that fades away after a few seconds

So, the last few moths my crohn had been really active. Which resulted in surgery where they had to relocate my ileostoma and remove al the bad stuff they came across during surgery. And because I thought I deserved a little happiness after being forced to stay ad home during the last 6 months and a couple of hospitals stays. Ik bought a cat. And all I can say is that I am the luckiest girl on this planet 😍

i hate when you miss the “falling asleep” window where you actually felt tired enough to fall alseep right on the spot but minutes later your brain is back to its normal noisy self and so you won’t be able to fall asleep for another few hours
