Can't believe I'm going to New York with my best friend in 8 months.

I decided a little while ago that I would travel to either the US or Canada at the end of year, but I had no idea I'd be lucky enough to go with my best friend. It's so important for me because all my life I had never had a best friend. I had friends, but they always already had best friends. Then in April 2013 I met Shi, a month or so after that she need a roommate. Despite my hesitations, I decided to confront my fears and live with housemates. She already had a couple of best friends so I didn't think there was room for me, but fast forward to 2015 and she told me she considered me one of her best friends. And now we're traveling together. I know she's excited but I don't think she understands how much this means to me, all my childhood and teenage dreams are coming true. We've both been through so much together and have given each other support and seen the growth and change necessary to live the happy lives we were destined to live. It's such a special friendship and it means the world to me.

not crying for weeks and weeks on end til one day breaking down over something not actually worth getting upset for

not being able to tell if your feelings for people are platonic or romantic or if you’re just lonely 

instead of caring too much not caring at all about anything 

not being able to process anything going on in your life and when you try your brain stalling out

losing your train of thought every five seconds so when you try to have a conversation having to pause and remember what you were trying to say

I'm honestly just so happy being single. I find it so much easier. I'm kind of scared that I like my own company so much though, and the fact that I don't think I want to ever get married. Like to be with only one person forever? What if I get sick of them? Maybe I could get married as long as we had a far amount of time apart and my future wife was okay with me going on holidays by myself or just wanting to watch tv alone.
