This is an RP blog for a Touken Ranbu saniwa OC, simply named Ouji, or the Prince. Written by, and follows back from @fribe-mimi

This Saniwa is not kind or easy to get along with. Ouji is temperamental, childish in his anger, but also very smart and calculating, using his power as a Sage for his own selfish purposes. He is under house-arrest in a pocket dimension, which also functions as his citadel. In there, he plays dollhouse with his swords in a palace-like setting, so everyone is dressed accordingly, so as to not to break his immersion. This will also come into play with how he treats others. He is the prince and emperor of his court (citadel) and should be treated with such respect. Might contain mentions of NSFW topics, violence/abuse (verbal, mental, physical) of your favorite swords, and blood. (I told you he's not nice.)

✨ A princely visit ✨

No, really. He was visiting, in the flesh, without a warning. With his small entourage with him too, both Heshikiri and Hachisuka there to do their duty in accompanying their owner on a visit to the other Citadel.

"...I forgot it was this quaint," was Ouji's first comment as he entered the grounds, the discomfort apparent in his voice. Hachisuka did his best to keep from commenting anything, and Hasebe was of course there to agree with him by default.

And while it really was much more humble of an abode than Ouji's own palace, it wasn't like Kenji's honmaru was anything outdated. It was a nice little place, built for housing and training sword warriors.

"You. Where's your master?" Ouji commanded the nearest sword, Kasen in this case, with an annoyed demand in his voice. He'd not heard of Kenji in almost a week, and it had made him much more uncomfortable than he'd have liked to admit.

It the man had fallen ill without telling him again... there'd be hell to pay. At least after recovering.

Kasen looked up surprised, yet he raised a brow, as a feeling of protectiveness arouse in his chest. Just what was this sage thinking- even showing up with two of his own touken danshi? They felt odd....to a point the sword developed a sort of dread for them.

Suddenly, that appearance in front of him rang a bell. Wasn't that the husband to be? But...would his aruji, of all people, really choose someone with this frightening aura?

Kasen simply bowed, making a gesture to follow him. "Kenji should be done taking his bath now", he finally answered, as honourifics between the swords and the sage were long gone by now.

As he lead the unusual group down the engawa, the returning team crossed their path; with them Hachisuka. Immediately his eyes locked onto the other Hachi; taking in his sight. While their bodies looked the same, all that pride wasn't to be seen in their guest, that readiness to argue.

He bowed politely.

"Welcome, please enjoy your stay"

Ouji wrinkled his nose at the overly familiar way the sword addressed his own master. Far too casual and without a shred of respect and reverence. He'd need to remind Kenji just how to keep a sword in line.

But he did follow Kasen, even if increasingly annoyed and getting more so by the minute.

So his stupid husband was well enough to have a bath, but not come see him? How dare he...

Though running into another Hachisuka of all swords did somehow make him almost boil over with his frustration.

"Even you're out here showing yourself so shoddily dressed to a guest? You should learn from your betters... all of you. I can't believe he's keeping such a loose leash. Disturbing...", Ouji huffed, clearly ready to hit a sword, any sword, for not showing him the respect he deserved!

"Your highness--, they're unused to your presence, I'm sure it's just the surprise--," Heshikiri attempted to diffuse the stare-down, while Ouji's own Hachisuka stared at the other with unbridled curiosity, a little stunned to see himself so... bare, while still beautifully elegant nonetheless.

Kasens' eyes widened. Not that a rude visitor would put anyone off guard here - but Hachisuka being the target of such a comment? Off all swords? He took pride not only in being a kotetsu but also in being a perfect example in manners. And it stung something inside of him.

A fire in his eyes, clearly a feeling of hot rage inside; but he stayed calm. Mostly.

"I wasn't prepared for a costume party, my apologies" he just answered coldly; making it almost a warning. Hm, he and their masters' future husband seemed to share some traits...

Seeing Hachi turn on his heels, his head high in pride, Kasen breathed again. But before he could continue, Kenji peeked out from inside the honmaru, closing his shirt. "Did Nagasone upset Hachi again?" He laughed - until he met oujis gaze.

"Wha... that's certainly a surprise."

What an halfhearted apology! How dare Hachisuka turn his back on the prince without even bothering with a proper apology! Ouji was ready to throw hands with him for that slight, but was luckily interrupted by Kenji's appearance, which made his two companions breathe a sigh of relief from not having to diffuse the situation.

"You! Your swords are impossible, how are they so ill-disciplined? I'm considering taking over for you and giving them a proper training in humility," Ouji huffed in irritation, before marching over to his husband and yanking on his half-closed shirt sharply. "Where have you been? What's going on? Do I have to personally come see y---... Are you ill?" His complaints were cut short with the startling realization, golden eyes full of suspicion, mixed with almost... relief? Why would he be relieved that this man was ill? Well... because the other option, of having been purposefully ignored, would have hurt him way too hard.

Kenji, despite being the target of the princes' visit, remained calm - despite the surprised inhale as he was manhandled...no... princehandled closer to his fiance. Anyone would set a boundary now but this mans' thoughts circled all around how badly he desired to kiss him now. He refrained from doing so, as usual; but wasn't able to hide that slight grin.

Worried, huh?

"Apologize; I will remind them how to treat you. As for me... I may have not cared about a cold I had earlier..." It weakened his body greatly and set his heart to extra work. Which was not the best, to put it simple. "But come in first!"

He led him into his study; the interior was maybe the most fancy he could offer. Heavy, dark bookshelves gave the room some classy feeling, the rich, dark green sofa added a cozy touch. In front of that, a low table with some tea ready to drink. Accompanied by a gift of visitors from a few days ago...an omamori from a certain shrine, it's crest prominent. Also a tea blend - to quicken the recovery.

"Those saniwa just came by to get their reports, so I don't need to bring them. They even brought some protection. Very nice; the younger of the two should be your age, is of great powers aswell. Maybe you get along?" A spell lingered on the omamori, not to be sensed by Kenji himself.

"Don't be stupid, a cold is a serious thing for your health...", the prince grumbled, before following Kenji anyway. He might have been annoyed, but it was still a big relief seeing the man in good enough health to be moving around. Even if Ouji would have preferred to see him in bedrest. But neither of them was the type to actually do that, so he didn't push.

Hmm... but in the room, it certainly did not escape Ouji's senses that there was an unauthorized spell present. How presumptuous of the little dove to do something like that. He knew it had to be Fuyuki, of course, nobody else had that exact power that lingered like soft perfume. Ouji moved over to the low table by the sofa, tracing his fingertips over the charm. He wanted to grab it and crush it, honestly, but he knew it'd have looked odd to Kenji. So instead he overpowered the spell with his own, barely a whisper from his lips before he pulled away again. He didn't have much power over Kenji's citadel, not like at his own, but this would have to do.

"Now. Explain yourself. When did you fall ill, and why? Did you do something to push yourself over, hm?" There was a sharp and accusing tone to his words, but it was obvious it was only there to mask the genuine concern he felt.

The sage narrows his eyes for a moment, but then simply accepts whatever there is to come....

"Don't make it too painful, yes?" He still teases.

Ouji just scoffed, not offering any sort of reassurances. Because he didn't like to lie.

Grabbing the arm with both hands, one around his palm and the other on his forearm, the smaller sage squeezed them as hard as he could. Which wasn't that hard, all things considered.

But if Kenji had told him to "come to me when you need to", he'd be polite and do as told. And in that moment, he really needed to hurt something or someone. It wasn't quite the same as doing something similar to a sword of his, but... it'd do for now.

Whatever thing is possessing him for finding this not outright alarming...

But Kenji smiles, letting the sage do as he needs. It doesn't hurt much; more so the feelings that must rage inside the prince. Hardly understood by both of them.

With his other hand, he brings the others' head close to his chest, letting it rest there while he gently pets Oujis' hair.

"Theres something... containing whips, riding crops maybe. Not as dangerous as normal ones" he gently laughs for a moment "but... maybe that's something to look into? You can let out a lot there" his last words are just a hot whisper.

Taking a few deep, shuddering breaths, he slowly allowed the arm in his hands some respite by loosening his grip, now just holding onto it gently. Or as gently as someone like him could.

"... Are you saying you'd enjoy that?", he frowned, though unable to look up at his fiancee's face to see if he was joking or not.

"I'll whip you if you want me to...", he huffed, cheeks burning red at the thought of it, "you'd be fine with that? With---... with being humiliated like that? I guess you're more of a masochist than I thought." The last words were more of a grumbled thought, than a real comment. But he couldn't help smiling a bit. Just a bit, hidden by his hair and Kenji's plush chest. He really could push and pull this man as he pleased, huh? He'd be willing to be the prince's stress-ball that easily? Well, maybe he already was one... And soon would be plenty more. At least he'd look good on his knees, covered in bruised and begging...

The prince paced around his study, frustrated and agitated.

He did NOT want to have a child. At all. Not a single part of it sounded appealing, or even tolerable.

If they were planning on him having one, he'd make sure as hell to make it hard for them.

Let them fight for it. Show some blood, maybe.

He knows everything is different now- different with him. Kenji isn't stupid; he's well aware of his overall situation, the risks waiting at every corner. Was all that really the right choice?

But moments like these reassure him.

Surely, they don't celebrate a real christmas, it was never on the table. But sitting together on the comfortable sofa while having some wine feels...nice.

Even nicer is the face of the prince. He fell asleep an hour ago, head resting on the taller mans' lap. All thanks to said wine and Kenjis hand - which gently brushed though that silky hair.

His face looks so... peaceful now, vulnerable even. The soft, black brows relaxed, the lips even slightly parted as Oujis surely feels the safety and warmth of the blanket he's covered in.

Kenji smiles as he continues reading his book, the hand still gently stroking through the dark locks.

It's always funny when a character feels an emotion and goes "what is this? What the fuck? Am I sick or ill or something?

He is insane, for real now.

But... Kenji can't stop staring at the plush puppet in front of him, it's golden eyes almost judging. It is still so adorable, especially for the cat ears and the obvious resemblance. The man sighs, not believing what he is about to do. 3000¥...a good price.

"Yes, this one please."

Yūji opens the door for his brother- who helps a young man to step outside; holding him by his hand gently.

"Everyone! This is our cousin Minori. His honmaru, up north in hokkaido where our family comes from, is under construction at the moment. As you can see, he needs some extra help here and there... We don't want to lay off any responsibility onto any of you. But if you see him needing help, please do offer a hand or call for us or his attendant, Nankaitarou."

The young man smiles slightly.

"Ah...please don't trouble yourselves too much because of me. I'm excited to meet everyone here."

Yūji steps to the side of the two smaller men. "Minori is a bit shy at first; but you can always win his heart by reading history books to him or listening to him playing koto." The tall man winks, giving his cousing a gentle, reassuring pat on his back.

His jokes are delivered as if it's just a normal statement, so it's hard to tell. He can change his citadel around at will, so sometimes he fucks with people by changing it around them. And sometimes, he jokes about things that make people a little scared. Such as branding his husband. That's a joke... maybe.||
