Polin Storytelling through Music

Hello tumblr people!

Whoever has remained at least.. The power of my newest shipping brainrot has pulled me back here by the hair after 6 years of not using this blog, so I hope someone likes this random return and content. :]

To get to the point, this is for any Polinators out there! I made a playlist following Polin's love story from Season 1 of Bridgerton to the HEA of their own season (though I jump to s3 fitted songs very quickly lol).

Every 4 songs the playlist changes from Pen's POV to Colin's, with the exception of the last 4 songs being from both their POV. Hope you enjoy listening:

After rewatching Season 3 of Bridgerton a lot, since it's my comfort season for romcom family drama that hits every time, I realized that the Benedict threesome scenes in episode 8, that many people found annoying, do have a very specific purpose actually (apart from the obvious, aka exploring Benedict's sexuality that is). They literally serve as the counting of each night after Polin's wedding day and night!

Specifically, they show us it took Colin and Pen exactly 3 nights and 4 days after said wedding to make up on the 4th night at the Butterfly Ball. That means it took Colin exactly 3 weeks and 4 days in total to forgive Pen after discovering her Whistledown secret, which ngl is impressively fast. Colin really is so down bad for Penelope, because worst fight and betrayal from the love of his life in their entire relationship and he processed his hurt feelings and resolved it in record time.

In conclusion, these two will never fight again, and if they do, they will be making up within hours I tell you. Good luck to Colin saying no to any of his ginger haired Pen twin children too lmao I love them <3

Omg upon another closer look on another rewatch, Colin actually discovered Pen is Lady Whistledown a week before their wedding!

That means it took him less than 2 weeks to forgive Penelope, like 11 days maximum, but I think it's even less..

Wtf I wish I could process my feelings this fast, Colin teach me your ways 😭😭

Pen is seriously so lucky and absolutely correct when she said Colin is a very good man. Pen is also such a loving person herself for forgiving Colin too when he messed up.

They truly are each other's mess and I wish one day I have a love like theirs, full of kindness and understanding and mutual growth 🥺💚
