this is the first time I've legitimately not needed my lineart after painting. I hit a milestone today. This is a study made after a photo of a roadrunner and it taught me things. Hooray for studying!

Do you think it's possible to like unglitch the L.Gauis sprite? Like push those pixels back in place or something?

I assume you're talking about the sprite itself and not in-universe? If so, then I don't think it's possible without having access to the original file's layers. It's like the distorted Abram portrait in the Fun House where even with tools to try to reverse the distortion to make a clear image, it doesn't work because the file's layers are required to actually undo the distortion.

Wait. Hm...

Maybe it is possible? It wouldn't be perfect, but the glitchiness of it is in rather clean slices, so perhaps it can be cut and stitched back together into something close to an uncorrupted appearance? I'm not very knowledgeable with digital art tools, so I wouldn't know how best to approach this. Still, the best results would be achieved if one had access to the image's layers (if they didn't just get merged down all into one).

I made Rocky look like them layered looking mountains, and Adrian like. The planet I didn't even think about the similarity in the rocky patches to the brown bits in the planet until I put them on though, happy accident : )
