Summary: Andrew knows the new kid is a liar. He knows he's not who he says he is, his backstory is not what he says he is, and by this point Andrew is fairly certain 'Neil' isn't even Neil half of the time. Whatever, a night in Columbia should sort all of that out before anyone gets hurt.

On that note, because it’s late and I’m bored, my AFTG sexuality headcanons which are also technically canon for WYWFTB:

Neil: demisexual demiromantic, technically could be attracted to people regardless of gender in a different world but being with Andrew is his one and only so no one else matters

Andrew: gay grey-romantic

Aaron: straight

Nicky: gay

Kevin: grey-bisexual demiromantic, no actual gender preference but claims to prefer women

Matt: bisexual, no gender preference

Dan: bisexual, prefers men/masc presenting people

Renee: bisexual, no gender preference

Allison: bisexual, prefers masculine or hyperfeminine people

Seth: straight but occasionally thinks a little too hard about it

Jean: bisexual, no gender preference

Jeremy: gay

Laila: lesbian

Cat: lesbian

Riko: grey-asexual aromantic, attracted more towards the idea of sex and the pleasure/power he can take from it than the actual people

Wymack and Betsy are straight but Abby is bisexual….Ichirou is also bisexual but has a heavy male preference

Dude it is SO FUN and EXCITING to see a reoccurring reader. If you've commented a handful of times on an author's work, I guarantee that they recognize you. You can't imagine how many times I've excitedly informed my friends "the person with the funny cat image commented!" "- anon is back!!!!" and the friends've recognized who I was talking about because I talk about my commenters so often LOL. We love you all!!!

Kevin Day giving his number to some guy in his class for a group project. Said guy still texting and talking to him even after the project is complete. Kevin actually replying. Kevin making a new friend. Who while into sports doesn’t really care all that much about exy. They have a basic understanding though so they understand to a certain extent what Kevin is talking about when he brings up exy. The foxes finding out about all this. Andrew and Neil being oddly irritated with this development. Kevin not caring. Kevin finding out one random day that his friend is an Olympic gold medalist. Kevin of his own free will to watching (on tv) his friend play ( I think a winter sport. Maybe snowboarding? Skiing?), a sport other than exy, for a spot on team USA. Him watching and supporting his friend as he qualifies for the Olympics again. Aaron snitching to the rest of the foxes about Kevin watching something others than. The foxes are convinced he’s been possessed. Neil is visibly irritated by this news. Andrew is more silent than usual.

Update!! (again :/)

Howdy everyone! So, things that have been happening since the last update a few weeks ago: -My grandfather passed away after about about week of being touch and go, so I was in my hometown for most of the last 2-3 weeks (basically since I posted the last chapter really except a few days between everything) -My boyfriend (who is genderfluid and outwardly presents as a woman) got to meet my family for the first time for the funeral! Somehow went better and worse than I anticipated considering they typically approach my gender and queerness with a "if I can't see it it's not real" mentality and suddenly it Could Not Be Ignored -However, I'm now less than a week from moving across the country to live with said boyfriend and therefore am stress packing up my entire life into a single car, so that's been most of what I've done when home because I'm on a strict time limit -And I got a job! Yippee!! It's tied to the government though so the onboarding process has been brutal and time consuming :/ All that to say is that, as I expected, the one-shots are on a wayyyyy less consistent schedule than the original fic lol but they will still be coming The last three Ichirou and Nathaniel chapters are started and I'll be honest in saying the next is one I am having a lot more trouble with, but I'm hopeful to publish that one soon :) ideally before I leave though I might be too optimistic on that one *sobs* Hope y'all are well!! ALSO: Someone posted a really sweet reddit post about WYWFTB and I wanted to say here how much I appreciate everyone's kind words and people recommending the fic places :D it means the world to us!!!

Title: Somewhere in San Francisco

Summary: Neil Josten woke up as himself for the first time in an abandoned building somewhere in the middle of San Francisco.

He knew where he was despite never being here in his life and had all of his memories without having a single one. Neil knew he was Neil Josten without knowing who Neil Josten was and he knew Neil Josten was not alone even if he was supposed to be. He knew the stitches in his wrists were for injuries done by himself even if he didn’t remember doing them and he wouldn’t know who had actually done them for a long time after this.

Neil Josten knew everything and nothing at the same time and wasn’t that just a contradiction?

Things I've done this week: 1.) Obsessively watch youtube videos about my dream PhD school 2.) Obsessively research one of my dream PhD faculty 3.) Apply to a few jobs (yippee!) and email so many PIs trying to find an NIH position (yippee but like less) 4.) Have multiple mental health episodes and become very restless and bored in my enclosure (my bedroom) because my life is unstructured af at the moment and it's my first time out of school and without a job in literally ever 5.) Start trying to teach myself neuroscience, python, and R (it's going less than great but it's ok) 6.) Organize probably over a thousand coins from over three years of collecting change so I can wrap them to exchange for cash 7.) Pack a little bit and buy my cat things for the very long roadtrip to move in with my boyfriend Things I've NOT done this week: 1.) Write a single word for the one-shots.....

Hi! I absolutely loved Who You Were Formed To Be!! I don't know if you take prompts/suggestions for fics, so if not I apologize if I'm overstepping any boundaries you have.

I was thinking a really fun one-shot to read would be one where it's the different foxes reactions to having to be around/seeing one of Neil's younger alters front since we didn't get to see it all too much in the original fic, and when we did the foxes weren't really aware of what was going on.

I absolutely adored Nate and would love to see the other foxes besides Andrew interacting with him. I think it would be interesting to see Wymack (or Abby) interact with him as well, but idk how that would go over considering Nate's trauma.

Sorry again if I'm overstepping and hopefully you don't feel any pressure to write this if you don't want to, I just thought I would see since it's something I would love to read x

Hello!! Haha definitely not against any boundaries to make requests :D I will say I can't make any promises that I'll end up fulfilling them, but I absolutely don't mind requests/questions! It helps to know what people are interested in reading :) now if you're a dick about me not writing something then that's where I cross the line, but I promise that just asking and showing excitement for my writing is not something I mind in the slightest!

Definitely agree about that being a great one-shot idea, people seem excited about the littles and it would be a lot of fun to write the Foxes interacting with them more!
