Ight, so after seeing Star Wars A Force Awakens I’ve become overly obsessed with FN-2187/Finn “possibly” being a Jedi.
I’ll say that from watching the trailers I think they were making it way to obvious that he was not going to be a Jedi in this movie and him holding the light saber is purely an attempt of misdirection away from Rey and her storyline.
Now with that being said, after ACTUALLY watching the film, I just find it way to hard to believe that the would put THIS much energy into some random Storm Trooper. His story doesn’t need to be apart of the film. He could’ve gotten the ride from Poe, crash landed, seen Poe was gone and left the entire movie. bye bye. But NO. They keep him involved. So since they did, now I’m gonna bite on the hype and give my reasons on why I think he MAY be a Jedi and the clues left in the film.
1. Finn has no backstory. His lineage is left a mystery. Which is paralleled to the now known Jedi, Rey, who we also have a very limited history on. All we know is that he was kidnapped, brainwashed and raised to be a Stormtrooper. Kawinky dink? Maybe.
2. FN-2187. 2187 is a George Lucas nod he uses often in his films. Specifically 2187 is the cell number Princess Leia was held in during the first trilogy. Kawinky dink? Maybe.
3. This is a random highly trained Storm Trooper who magically breaks code when faced with an actual decision of good or bad. He “awakens” from his soldier hypnosis and takes no part in the heinous acts committed around him going against his orders. He knows nothing else other than The First Order. Why does this happen and how? Could it be his connection to Jedi force energy? Maybe it’s a stretch of a concept. Idk. Kawinky dink? Maybe.
4. When Kylo Ren begins to head back to the ship, he stops and takes notice of FN-2187. Maybe it’s because he notices the energy coming from him is hesitant, afraid, and confused. Emotions not often thought to be shared by trained brainwashed soldiers. OR maybe he feels the force “awakening” in Finn. Just a shimmer of it in that moment. Or maybe, it’s just a Kawinky dink. Maybe.
5. When Finn, and I’ll remind you again that this is someone who has no family, no history, no nothing other than what he knows from The First Order finally has his big opening to escape the hunt from the First Order he not only once, but twice ignores it to do a good deed. For a perfectly complete stranger. He didn’t have any reason to try and save Rey from the fight on Jakku. Why does he care about BB-8 getting his message to the right hands? Why? It’s almost as if he is connected with good energy. Kawinky dink? Maybe.
6. Maz Kanata pays special, close, DETAILED attention to Finn at the table. Why hop on the table and look so deep into his eyes like that for him just to be run away Strom Trooper? Kawinky dink? Maybe.
7. When Rey decides the light saber is too much of a burden and runs away, Maz hands FINN the light saber to pass it on to Rey. Why Finn? This is a dude running from something. Why not hand it to Han Solo? Someone she knows and trusts???? Kawinky dink? Maybe.
8. When “Deathstar 3” decides to show its hand and destroy 5 planets at once, the people on those planets are screaming. Finn then turns around like he felt that energy. Just like Obi Wan did when “Deathstar 1” destroyed alderman. Kawinky dink? Maybe.
9. Finn uses the great Anakin’s light saber not once but twice. He technically loses both times though. Which really should be understandable since he has no training with light sabers at all. Is it a Kawinky dink he gets to fight with the saber twice? Maybe.
10. There is also another Jedi who hasn’t been brought to the movie canon yet - Kyle Katarn. His story mirrors the beginning of Finn’s which is a storm trooper who breaks his mental conditioning, and later his story leads him into being a Jedi. This is the only storyline I’ve heard of in the Star Wars universe that involves a Storm Trooper breaking his conditioning. So is it a Kawinky dink? Maybe.
With these clues I strongly feel as a viewer that there has to be SOME chance their is validity in this theory. It may all be coincidental or planned misdirection by the story tellers but either way I’d be happier than you can even imagine if this theory is true lol
Let me know if you agree or disagree. Reblog this as well.

Distance weapon: those sky dancer propeller toys.
I’ll allow it.
I have but two words:
Are those a weapon or piece of armor?

It got better since I last saw it
This is so weird bc being born in 1997 I saw all these toys… old, dirty, and faded by the sun
it’s so weird to think of them as new and current toys rather than the relics of a bygone age
