Hello everyone! I haven't been here for a while, last time I remember Space Dandy was a thing that I enjoyed. Anyways! Stop making chicken noodle soup.
first you have to remember that the first disco ball was painstakingly put together by hand from nothing but an idea and lots of intricately cut glass and bandaids and then you have to think about the experience of being under a disco ball for the very first time, bathed in reflections of an era that has not yet come to past, and finally you end up wondering what else there is around you that has yet to be unearthed by something with so much as a silly name
I remembered this post a few nights ago while I was out and looking up at this massive disco ball and I needed to find it but I couldnāt so I just googled disco ball and stood there in the middle of the concert floor reading the disco ball Wikipedia entry. anyway did you know that the disco ball is German in origin.

I think poor people deserve to buy luxuries for themselves
poor people deserve to eat glorious yummy food and buy cool technology and games and do fun things
removing the option to buy snacks and sweets from people's food stamp budget money is inherently evil and devilish.
If you're poor in the U.S., especially if you're poor and disabled, there is the constant unavoidable and horrifyingly blatant understanding that your society believes you to have sinned in some unforgivable way by not "earning your keep" and must therefore be punished for it by constantly being miserable. Can't marry, hold a job or even own anything valuable that could possibly be sold if you're on disability. Can't have sweets or snacks, in a lot of cases I've seen things like WIC and EBT will even have you denied hot cooked food at many establishments.
And there's no way any sane person could justify it as a case of "what's necessary" or "preventing misuse of funds", it is blatantly just the rich and their hoarded millions beating you down for the crime of daring to ask for a cent of those millions. You managed to pass all their ridiculous tests, jump through the humiliating hoops and red tape, and prove you need money in a way they can't legally wiggle out of, and they are pissed about it. Short of committing legal-definition genocide, I can't think of anything more obviously cruel and evil, and yet it's something that happens every single day in this country and we just accept it.
So yea, I'm in full agreement with Salem here. Let people have nice things. Let them have candy and fried chicken and iphones and pretty dresses. And maybe STFU about whether or not they "need" or "deserve" any of it

You can tell a lot about the health of a civilization by their warning signs. Places with a lot of dumb folks will have very broad, very dumb warnings in public. "No feeding the birds." "Stop swimming in this drainage pond." That kind of thing.
Advanced civilizations have very precise signs. They've covered the bases of their regular, run-of-the-mill idiots, and now they're working hard to cover that other end of the bell curve: the talented idiot. When I was in Germany last time, there was a big warning sign that consisted of a 76-letter-long word that means "stop bothering this particular goose, Sven." I don't know who Sven was, but the goose looked pretty calm. It worked.
Now, I have a secret to tell you. You can just make your own signs. There's no law against it, except perhaps "littering," and the municipal sign factory doesn't have very good security. If you show up there past close and put in the door code that you shoulder-surfed off one of the employees returning from lunch a week prior, you have all night to fuck around with their sign-printing machine, making the most official-looking placards you can think of.
Is this wrong? I don't think so. It's a public space, and being able to put up an aluminum sign that says wacky crank shit is your right. For instance, just last week, I banned pickup trucks from parking by the playground. The cops figured out something was going on, because they didn't get any calls for toddlers getting backed over for a couple of days and sent a patrol truck to investigate. Took my sign right down.
What I discovered after that is that nobody keeps records of what signs are supposed to be there. Why would anyone put up a sign for no reason? They cost money, after all. The city is now suing the shit out of that officer for stealing the "no trucks" sign, thanks to an anonymous tipster who called in the theft. Guy wearing a reflective vest came by and put like four more of them up after the lawsuit made the news, just out of spite. I'm not entirely sure if he's actually a city worker; we ran into each other at 3am at the sign factory and just grunted. He was working on some really crazy signs about not feeding a particular swan. Probably German.
Thereās this guy that sits in front of me who you would think is a conservative redneck bc his entire aesthetic is southern lumberjack w boots and denim and hats but heās actually one of the most inclusive and anti trump guy Iāve ever met and today he wore this hat that sums up his entire personality and Iām screaming.

I literally follow your blog just to learn about new animals. I hope there is a gimmick blog that appears that will teach about the animals you locate, so I may smile and say I know them. Maybe Iāll become that gimmick blog one day, but I donāt know that much about animals.

Stellarium Dress
