donnie thoughts (2012)

Donnie isn't just "the nerd." he doesn't only do stereotypical nerdy stuff- he skateboards with his brothers, he fights alongside them, he's even got a nasty temper when it comes down to it. I absolutely love this about 2012, that he's not just the loser scientist who loves anime and is super smart and scrawny. he does all the cool things his brothers do, his other hobbies are just different.

I don't love when people give Donnie glasses just because he's the designated nerd. Glasses are a disability aid, not a symbol of intelligence.
