FalseZine is a fanzine inspired by Minecraft Youtuber and streamer FalseSymmetry

This piece is inspired by False's HC season 4 disgraced sheriff character who breaks out of jail and decides to go on the run! Not wanting to be noticed, she disguises herself and escapes Hermitcraft with her trusty steed, Bullseye, never to be seen again (or so they say 👀).

Modding for this zine was such a treat; everyone was so wonderful and the finished product turned out amazing!!! Thank you @radishearts especially for all the work you did in putting this together🫶

One of the best scenes in The Boys is the cold opening to S2E7. It combines two aspects I actually like about the show: the use of "mixed media" and set design. You often see news clips, talk shows, movies, etc. Sometimes a scene opens with a new reporter talking about a plot point even if the scene doesn't address it. Meanwhile in the background everything from cups to name brand packaged food is plastered in superheroes. It really makes the world feel self-contained but immersive.

The cold open itself is so horrifically sad, watching this seemingly quiet, normal man going about his day getting radicalized when all you can hear are soundbites and see all the Stormfront merch surrounding him.

Even without the context of the show, it stands on its own.
