My first one being so buggy that it ended up getting borked due to malware. (If you're a past follower you would know) And I forgot my password on my second blog. It is inactive and I don't miss it honestly. Robo-blight: Chapter 1 - The Husk incident

Synopsis: Rayman navigates the Woods of Light, but he soon runs into someone familiar. VERY familiar. --- Big shoutout to Raymap created by Droolie and Robin! The 3D map viewer is a nifty tool and is helpful during the making of this image. NOTE: The background being lifeless and dreary is the point of this AU. When a virus/zombie outbreak happens the world around it tends to be devoid of life and empty. I own write Robo-Blight. Rayman is owned by Ubisoft.

So, I've been playing Left 4 Dead lately and the graphics aged pretty well. I played 2-3 online games so far, and the co-players had been respectful towards me. Quite rare. Sometimes I sucked or I didn't react as quickly as I should have, but that's L4D. You git gud or you get clapped. For a zombie survival shooter it's fun despite the grim and dark undertones lore wise. And sometimes I have this weird gut feeling that this game is trying to tell us something. But that's probably my post-covid stress talking. Out of the original Survivors Bill and Zoey are my favorite. The former has a interesting backstory and is a realistic character. (IRC veterans are most likely to survive horror movies or zombie outbreaks in this case) I'm not sure I'll ever draw fanart of both games, but I do enjoy the series.

Possible Ko-Fi scam, beware.

I got this message today on my Ko-fi inbox. It seemed sus, so I didn't use the link and went to my profile to see if there's anything that needs approval. Everything there seems fine.

It MIGHT be a scam. Especially since ko-fi automated mail said 'Support sent you a direct message'. Which... doesn't sound like something actual site would send if there WAS an issue. The user is just named 'Support'.

Let me know if anyone else had this happen.

CONTEXT: Rayman having a bandaid on his nose is due to tests the robo-pirates conducted to document if he's vulnerable to the new and dangerous mutated form of rabies that affects ANY species that's mammalian, warmblooded, or functions similar to mammals. The story in question is called Robo-Blight, a Rayman infection au with a lot of dark, and sad moments. Even if Rayman survives, the story is still dark and gloomy.

I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with

But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy

When I started working on my Rayman infection AU; The Covid-19 pandemic was over, the Infection AU scene/trend simmered down. Now that there's news about the Hantavirus, I'm stepping away from my Robo-Blight project until it passes. I'm on a break from making Rayman content anyway.

UPDATE: I did some research on the hantavirus; I'm in the clear and thus I can continue my work on Robo-Blight. Lore masterpost on my Rayman infection AU coming sometime in the future.
