I think of the other first kisses we got in RWBY and they’re settings are kind of sad. Arkos was in a battle that would destroy their school. Renora was in a political celebration where many would eventually die and the worst candidate would be elected.

And then there’s Bumblebee. The reality around was shaped for their kiss. From the bridge that would construct themselves the sooner they get to the truth. The beautiful golden and purple skies. The flowers flowing around them as they kiss. The music swelling.

And to top it all off, they know this was the best kiss in the show because they put them on a giant fucking pedestal.
