uhhhhhh i kinda forget how i remember haha im just gonna say i spent enough time around plural/system blogs on the internet and related and found plural stuff hashtag relateable enough..
idk i kinda just declared myself a system one day im p sure.. but thats one of the reasons why im not super super sure of my plurality and plural experience. that and also (or maybe this counts towards the previous point) my system doesnt have heavy amnesia and for such a newly discovered system we communicate really well almost all the time,
as well as that. i dont feel like we in all and/or each alter focus much on the reason why each of them formed. ik at least three of them were sprouted from (or at least during) my home life when i was younger and it was much much more unsafe at my residence, but i wasnt aware of what the plural experience or plurality was. now that my home has changed so much from what it was like in my earlier stages of life, the ones that formed to help protect the Body arent as useful anymore, and since we live now with someone that isnt our bodily parents, we're under a different form of attack and they're not really prepared to handle this?
as for how its like, i tried to incorporate that answer into several parts of the first three paragraphs.

Okay so I’m gonna be completely honest, I thought this plural was just gonna be like my therian phase were I was convinced I was one. But bro. But for context I was starting to feel homesick and I felt like I was in the wrong reality, I felt like I was a character from a fandom that was forced into a human body but I wasn’t sure who I was so…
I jumped a conclusion that maybe I was a fictionkin or something of that sort! After all I do have a faint memory of curling up next to my f/o
And of course I did my usual when I suspected I had something, I looked up symptoms and tried to match if anything fit with what I was experiencing, scrolled through as many sites as I was willing to find (like three to five) and worst of all.. I took a ‘are you a fictionkin quiz’ which I know isn’t solid evidence but any hints work so I took it and… I fucking kid you not, I got fictive. That shouldn’t have even been an option!
So I start thinking back and I remember, today, being in the shower and hearing Rocky and Detective’s voices just like when I heard Hard Drive (yk the comic) so then I decided to take another quiz (more specifically a DID cuz… yeah why not) instead of asking my parents for a diagnosis because this was SUPPOSED to be a silly little phase!
so why the fuck did it say ‘High Risk’
so yeah I’m freaking out because this is NOT the intended outcome of this “phase”. I think the worst part of it all actually makes SENSE! The sudden homesickness, the thoughts that I suspected was my “headmates”, the almost constant gaps in my memory and haziness of said memories, even a rare fake memory, e.g., a fake memory of a friend showing me a TOH meme even though I remember vividly that I saw the meme on my own
So any help from some actual plural people would be awesome sauce. Am I actually plural or I am misidentifying this as other possible stuff like bipolar disorder (since I do have a biological parental figure with it) and also heavily suspected autism?
