just a thought: the reason why you are probably incredibly uncomfortable with the term ‘bisexual’ or being seen as one is because you have grown up in a world that’s inherently anti-bisexual. we have always been seen as cheaters, fetishes, sex objects, indecisive, attention-seeking, slutty, childish, etcetera. we are always seen as a straight person’s fantasy or something to be played for laughs on tv. young bisexual kids grow up seeing how the world deeply hates them and are forced to repress their bisexuality in order to be accepted. 

and the worst part of it all; there is really no way of escaping it. 

even in spaces where we should be able to feel safe, where we should be able to be ourselves without judgement, this behavior is encouraged. we tell bisexuals with deeply rooted internalized biphobia that it’s okay to just avoid bisexuality; that just calling yourself something else is the solution to your crippling self hatred. 

screw all of it. let us exist. stop telling us we can’t just be bisexual. we are bisexual, and there is nothing you can do about that.
