The Caring Red Riding Hood

This was a final I had to do for my Illustration class where I take one of the fairytales that are listed and make a twist out of it. For this I chose The Little Red Riding Hood, and made “The Big Bad Wolf” sympathetic and struggling from hunger. I made Little Red have a Mother who was running a business in a cute restaurant and made Little Red a #1 helper by delivering food and other supplies. When she importantly had to deliver for her Granny, “The Big Bad Wolf” would keep on asking her to share the food for him, when Little Red soon saw the truth that the Big Wolf wasn’t “Bad” but just “Poor” she cried and said sorry for not knowing he was dying from hunger. That’s when she shared half of the food to him, and when she explained everything to her Granny, she then led the Big Poor Wolf to live with her from now on.

It was really fun to do something new and draw humans for the first time in forever! I usually suck when it comes to drawing them, but I think I evolved and was able to draw them well!

Recently I’ve received a Digital Drawing Pen and Procreate on my iPad.
