Almost forgotten what it was like to wake up at 5am 🕠🥱 Running on less than one hour sleep (pro tip: do NOT drink iced tea at 2am while working late), but super pumped up and running on 100% pure adrenaline because well... This year's Father's Day is especially tough, as it is the first celebration without my dad. I didn't mention it before because I wanted to avoid reality, to shun away from the condolences I didn't want to receive, but at this stage, and on this special day that honors our personal heroes, it's time to accept the truth and move forward on the road ahead. It's devasting to lose the one thing you've always had in your life, and believed would always be there. That's why not a day goes by that I do not miss him, think of him or grieve him. All his life, my father taught me how to love, appreciate and never take anything for granted, a lesson he continues to teach me up until the very end. Dad tells me that he's never left, that he is still out there somewhere, loving us in another way. That he is a star in the sky, watching over and protecting us in all our future steps. Thank you for your love. We love you, too. RV adventure from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon West, Grand Canyon South, Horseshoe Bend, and Bryce Canyon through three states (Nevada, Arizona and Utah). Fun to experience the famous van life at multiple camping grounds with family. Had to split up into two trips due to unexpected circumstances, but chose to complete it because it's important to finish what you set off to do. Despite all the physical and emotional challenges the universe throws your way, just know that while every story has an end, in life, every ending also lies a new beginning.
