So my current problem is that I am, shockingly, way, WAY too nice. Friend comes over, friend is exhausted, friend needs to talk. Listen to friend, console friend, agree friend should go home and sleep...

... despite wanting to do extremely bad things to friend. Which friend was well aware of. But exhausted. Could have made a move, didn't make a move. Friend goes home to sleep. I remain here, in my room, feeling like a complete lemon. 

Time to kick self repeatedly. I fail at charisma forever, and don't know how to anything other humans.

Grad School Blues

Here I am getting so excited about my thesis and my paper and my ideas and my research and dreams…

and I can barely string together a sentence for a two page proposal. Everything I have so far sounds like inarticulate horse dookie.  

Someone just pass me the fork now. I’m gonna be jabbing it in my eye before the deadline tomorrow afternoon.

Srsly guys

I'm teaching a one-student class again. I'm tired, I had to read two novels in one day to prep for class, I still have 3 acts of Merchant of Venice to read and prep for discussion, and I haven't eaten since breakfast. 

Also got a text from the roomie that the sink is broken.
