as someone with a lot of similar struggles as Ivan, there's NOTHING that enrages me as much as people disregarding his feelings just because he was manic. speaking from experience, NO ONE knows how you're feeling except yourself, and the fucking nerve that some people have to act all condescending about your own feelings just because you were having an episode is the worse. yes, he was manic, and yes, everything felt much more intense to him during that time, that DOESN'T give anyone the right to treat him like a baby or like someone who doesn't understand his own emotions at all, because that is not true, and it just shows that you are an asshole.
