Oh we have. I truly don’t think people realize how dingy and dark most movies and tv shows actually are so they can’t appreciate the work and skill it takes to make gifs look the way your brain “remembers” it looking.

Another before and after example:

This gif needed 6 different adjustment layers, not including the sharpening process, which is its own separate challenge. The blue window was also changed to green to keep the palette more consistent and to reduce the range of colors needed, because a wider range of colors generally results in worse gif quality since gifs only support a max of 256 (compared to the millions your monitor can display).

Important addition! You HAVE to update your social security card BEFORE you go to the DMV to update your driver’s license/state ID. I appreciate that the social security card is the first one on this list and I want to emphasize why. The DMV will NOT let you change your name on your license/ID until your social security card has been updated and issued. You have to bring your new social security card with you to the DMV as well. I made that mistake the first time around, so I wanted to spread the word because I had to make a whole new appointment with them and wait forever and go all the way back to the DMV again. However, you do not need to update your birth certificate before updating your license/ID. You just need to have changed your name legally (of course) and have updated your social security card. That’s all I wanted to say!

Like I made this as a joking response to all the “I don’t like THOSE bi girls who sleep around and party and blah blah blah. I like the REAL ones” bullshit, but I’m actually serious. Many bisexual women (as well as gay men and lesbians tbh) come to terms with their sexuality through “sloppy” ways. The hatred we receive is completely unjustified. You can’t berate “slutty bi women” and then call yourself a feminist and/or lgbt activist. That’s just plain hypocrisy. :/
