I miss “vintage” anime artstyles, it was plain and simple back then but nowadays all i see is a woman who’s supposedly 1000yrs old looking like she’s 12 or women/girls having such unrealistic body shapes i.e boobs being bigger than their whole damn head and looking like it would snap their spine in half irl, also waists so tiny you wonder if they even have all their organs intact. Boobs DON’T have to jiggle with every step you take pls i’m begging for some normal fucking animation here

So y'all I know I don’t really interact here anymore but I’ve hit what I believe to be probably the worst art block of my life and I don’t really know why? I’ve always felt like art blocks happen because of something; you’re burnt out or fed up with doing the same thing over and over again. You’re uninspired because you haven’t found new sources of inspiration lately, or something is going on in your life that takes more of your time and energy. But I feel like this is different.

It’s not a matter of “art fatigue” or feeling burnt out or uninspired. I just don’t want to? Whenever I look at my sketchbook I just go “bleh” and throw it to the side. Whenever I open clip I just go “actually no”. And I don’t even give it a second to think about something to draw. The act of picking up the pencil itself feels painstakingly unmotivating and I just. Don’t want to. And I do that really know what to do??

I have no other hobbies besides drawing. I don’t know how to function without it either. So I just sit here and I feel like I’m growing more and more depressed by the daily.

Basically what I wanted to ask was have you ever experienced an extreeeme art block where it makes you resent art, did you get over it and if yes, how? Do I have to wait or do I need to do something? Helbbbb

My name is Quinn, I’m a 22 year old trans woman living a state away from my girlfriend and am in need of help. I need to raise 25k for an apartment (to pay for billing, movers, furniture, and food) that me and my girlfriend can live in together.

This is less of a help two lesbian lovers live together goal and more, help my girlfriend Root live in a safe space away from abusive parents.
