i’m really liking work it could be better, I could be more sociable (as sociable and loud as i am with friends new situations just go out the window idk why), but it’s good. Im doing good work, I made friends with the runners who bring me tea, the tech guy who set up my computer comes up each day to see how things are going, and my boss sounds like he wants to keep me on longer term cause hes talking to me about work i could do with them in futureeeeeee

also I convinced my boss to bring in one of my uni pals to try out some new software instead of me doing a certain thing so 1) I have a friend and 2) friend may get paid and 3) fun!!! friend!

ooh blimey it’s been a while since I was here

started that job yesterday, was really fun!

except i’ve moved back in with my parents and i’m sleeping on an airbed in the lounge and my iron deficiency started playing up when i was in germany and poor sleep makes it worse and i nearly fell asleep at my desk on my second day.

however, I have my own office on the top floor AND THEY LET PEOPLE HAVE DOGS IN WORK

going bra shopping today made me really self conscious and hateful of my boobs again and i’m looking AGAIN at the nhs reduction page and ughhhhhh i fit almost all the criteria but they wont consider me cause i’m like the high end up of normal on the bmi scale (this was when i’d spent 3 months practically working out 6 days a week at my horse job over summer! best and fittest condition of my life! so fucking healthy but nooooooo cause i’m stocky ) ughhhhh I’m gonna try again when i move back in with my parents cause a lot of the time it depends on what the nhs in the area can fund, but i need to get my chiropractor deets down so i can say i had 4 months of that with no help

but i ordered 2 cute nude bras that i’m gonna try tomorrow cause my only white one broke and i cant wear anything light coloured til i have one... one looks like some smaller boob bra in its fanciness and shape!!! and a few larger reviewers said it fit really well!!!! I CANT WAIT

Raccoon dogs look very similar to raccoons but have no genetic similarities between them. They belong to the Canidae family, which are known to have distinct dog and wolf like characteristics and appearance. These animals are both carnivorous and omnivorous mammals.

They are monogamous and will mate for life. It is only if the mate dies or is killed, will the other search for a new mate. Two mates will hibernate in one den. During this period they will maintain close body contact to keep each other warm and will groom each other as well. This is a trait not practiced by canines, as dogs neither hibernate and nor are they monogamous in nature.

also since it’s right in the middle of exam season (i wonder if that was deliberate) if you think you won’t be able to vote on the day/you’ll be away from your county (at uni etc) you must REGISTER FOR A POSTAL VOTE! The deadline to apply for a postal vote is Tuesday 23rd May , see here and here more info.

If you are at uni you can register at your university as a second address!

You have to choose whether you want to vote at home using a postal vote, or vote at university. If you want to vote at university then just register again with your university address. After entering your address it will ask if you also live at a second address, and you need to click “Yes, I’m a student with home and term-time addresses” and you can apply to vote just like you would at home.

thank god corbyn and labour are doing something and giving great and punchy policies within days of the elecetion decision cause now i honestly feel like I fully back them

so i did some uni work and posted it in the collab group for feedback, and an ex student (supervising some work) made a really rude comment veiled as a compliment (you’re good at art stuff but should really reconsider if you want to keep on with animation kind of comment, basically shitting on my anim despite me being a main animator in my section) anyway I told him that comments like that arent hard to make motivating, one of the lecturers liked it and friended me just to tell me not to listen to him and that I stood up for myself really well

and I really needed that ngl cause his comments on it were really fucking harsh considering he’s never animated in his life and considering some of the work we’re getting in the project. I mean he’s always been known to be a dick and have little people skills but like come on, would it be so hard to be ‘have a look again at the weight in the run, maybe spend some more time and have the director look at it to give advice’ rather than ‘you should reconsider your career choices’

anyway having the lecturer friend me and message me in support really helped, cause this guy has always said (in some superior ‘i had a job once’ ness) that the industry is horribly harsh and he’s only reflecting that, 

but 

the only reason the ‘industry is harsh’ is because people are choosing to be harsh, rather than being motivational. Yeah sometimes there are hard truths, but that’s not an excuse to be prick
