WI at 246.7 today. Which is a nice loss from last week, but I would REALLY LIKE to stop bouncing around this 245-255 range.
but otoh it means I only gained .2 while up at parents for the weekend, which is nice because I did try to stay on track even though I ate too many delicious dinner rolls.
NSV Up at parents' for the weekend and they don't keep a lot of ready food in the house; I could've gotten lunch out and made bad choices, esp at the local fry-everything family restaurants I grew up with and love, but I stayed home and had a big bowl of leftover brothy chicken-veg soup instead.
When dinner is steamed carrots and pb on saralee delightful bread because you indulged with a ginormous cinnamon roll for brunch. No regrets, just balance.
240.5 for the morning’s weigh-in, down 1.8 from last Sunday and down 2.9 from last Monday’s “official” weigh in of 243.4. I was reaaaally hoping to get down into the 230s, but it’s close. Guess I’ve been OP long enough that even with Smart Points I need to stop expecting the huge losses of the first couple weeks.
I’m happy with 2.9 or even 1.8. I’ll take it.
oh wow. a half cup of the kroger low-fat eggnog is six sp.
daaaamn.
Guess this one half-gallon is gonna last me all the way through the new year. But it’s a treat and I love eggnog, so.
(yes, I could cut it with diet sprite or ff milk, but tbqh I like my eggnog undiluted).
242.3, -4.6 pounds. I’m weighing in a day early because the family Christmas party is tonight, and while I’m going to be careful, I’m also going to indulge a little and I don’t want tomorrow’s weigh in to discourage me from the hard work of this week.
Delicious dinner is delicious.
a little pointy, but I’ve found that having a smaller point bfast and lunch and a bigger dinner works for me (so far).
Like today -
bfast: banana and 1.5 oz almonds, 7 sp
lunch: soup and salad, 9 sp
dinner: fried rice (6sp for 3 eggs, 6sp for rice, 3pts for olive oil, 2 sp for cheese, 1 sp for salmon) with mushrooms and spinach, 18sp
2 daily sp and a couple weeklies left over for a snack.
246.9
Well, that’s an excellent 6.8 loss to start off the recommittment effort. Yes, SmartPoints is harder. Yes, it’s fucking worth it.
Not that I expect those kind of results frequently, but losses on SP I’ve noticed were significantly higher than those on PP.
Wow. Happy with that, yeah. It may mean a smaller loss or gain next week, but it’s a big step in the right direction.
dammit, posted this to the wrong blog this morning.
Long time no blog, at least at this weightloss sideblog.
This hasn’t been a bad year; I’ve mostly maintained my weight in the 250ish range, plus or minus five pounds. Not great, not a lot of loss, but that’s 30 pounds I didn’t gain back, so I’m counting it as a win.
I’m recommitting to Life in General now, instead of in January, so.
Mental health wise, it’s... not been a great year, especially the last few months. But I have some hope that I’m on the upswing now.
Since midday on December 31st, I have:
Cleaned out my car Washed my car Gone to the store several times for various errands Done all my laundry, inclusive of bedding and towels Done several loads of dishes Vaccuumed the front room Cleaned my bathroom Wiped down the kitchen cabinets Started a new organizing system for the pantry Cooked a butternut squash Hardboiled half a dozen eggs Cooked a large pot of beans Consolidated pantry items Cleaned out and put away a suitcase full of stuff Cleaned old bad items out of the fridge Taken out several bags of garbage
and, of course, developed a headcold that is currently making breathing difficult.
yay 2016?
mmmmm dinner was delicious.
a bit high points but I had the points because I pretty much crashed and didn’t eat much dinner yesterday so
whole wheat pita topped with spinach scrambled eggs (spinach cooked in 1 tsp of oil and eggs in another bc I needed to get my oils in) and a naughty amount of cheese.
delicious.
lunch was also v good; pita + avocado + mushrooms + turkey breast leftovers from pseudo-thanksgiving on Sunday. nomnom.
in other news, I was back on the wagon all week last week and lost like, six pounds, though I’m sure that will mean I’ll have a small gain this week. But a nice start. Officially down 30+.
i may be developing a pita addiction. they’re one point more than sandwich thins and oh so much more satisfying.
but. As I have lost 30+ pounds, i am beginning to struggle with lowered points. Down to 37 from a starting point of 42.
Pretty good day. Some hunger, but that’s to be expected when I’m coming off being off-track and filling up with bad food.
indulged in a bagel this morning at work in addition to breakfast, so I’m going into my dailies for dinner, but that’s okay.
so I started again again.
but good news!
during the time between august and november that I was pretty much completely off track
I gained exactly .2 pounds. That’s it. I managed to maintain my 25-pound loss from the beginning of April to August through November, despite myself and a really unhealthy diet. I’m not sure if it was me, getting on thyroid meds/birth control, or what, but hell, I’ll take it.
starting to feel like a functional human again, so we’ll see how this goes.
*shriek* That sandwich was 22 points!!! how was that sandwich 22 points!!! i thought jimmy johns was a fairly safe option but ugh I didn’t take hte mayo off so my fault I guess and it left me hungry
dammit.
25.1 down since april 13th. Booyah. (like 125 to go but whatever)
Down a total of 24lb as of Monday, for an average loss of exactly 1.6 pounds per week. Woot!!
Also I have hit my goal of regular exercise... at least once, as of last week. (Given my work schedule, ‘regular’ is meaning one cardio and one weight training session per week on two different days, i.e. exercising twice per week. It’s not fantastic, but it’s better than nothing).
