What this is about: I felt unhappy with how Warriors was going direction wise, so I plan to "Fix" (write it how I please) it, With More ranks, more deaths (both story relevant and not.) A non-incestuous family tree, and more!

Proposed Skyclan and Stormclan timeline:

Skyclan leaves, and Birdflight goes to Thunderclan with her kits. A long fucking time passes, like 15-17 years, and Spottedpelt is the only one left by the time Stripestar and Galestar do their thing.

Spottedpelt would probably be the one to relate Stormclan to Skyclan's leaving. Perhaps recalling all the grief and regret for staying her mother had, Spottedpelt joins Stormclan when they leave and dies on the initial leg of the journey.

Maybe make a point of all of Thunderclan mourning, as nearly all of them can trace their lineage back to either her or her brother. (average cat generation should be 2-5 years, so there would 4-9 generations between 'current' Thunderclan and Birdflight. easily takes over the whole clan)

Stripestar returns like a half year or more later to Thunderclan with Flash and Daisy, two kittens he found and took in as his own. if Gale had time to become pregnant and deliver in the journey away, then it should be a roughly three moon trek back.

Stripestar steps down as official leader, and it is suggested that he settle whatever else needs done do that the next leader (Oak?) can receive their lives. He permanently dies shortly after his girls earn their names, and around 4-6 years later they've each got litters of their own.

Daisytoe mates with a cat from Thunderclan, Flashnose might. Or I might have her pair off with someone completely outside the clans idk.

Then we've got 1-2 years before Moonflower has Blue and Snow, and another about 8-9 years until Into The Wild.

That's around 29-37 years after Skyclan leaves, and 14-18 years after Stormclan happens.

Timeline actually works pretty well for Skyclan to be forgotten, or at least considered some kind of mythology.

Stormclan would not be forgotten. Depending on what I pick for the timeline, Speckletail could have been born when all that was going on, and both One-eye(17-19) and Halftail(14.5) are older than her. Even the longer timeline with the younger One-eye has it too recent to forget.

Stormclan is instead going to be a recent disaster in clan history, and proof of why clans shouldn't cooperate too much - it only leads to destruction and misery.

From the 2-3 Moon mark, Every kitten in the Order is given a name to suit their appearance, their personality, or their parent's wishes. In the 2-3 Moon mark, these names may be bound to change, as their eye color develops, or simply that their personality changes. As an example, a kit going from a shy personality to a bossy personality, may be renamed from FawnKit to BoarKit. However, Once they're three moons old, the name locks in. Additionally from names that will not be used if they are not native to the region, there are some names that are should not be used, such as Nightshade and Yew. Yes, Historically they were used, but now it implies your kit is like poison.

When they turn roughly 6 Moons of age, they are given their training ceremony, and are given the suffix Paw. There are no more early soldiers (Besides BrokenStar's bit), as it is against the law. Once a trainee turns into a soldier, they are given their suffix, based on their accomplishments and life story.

A soldier can have their whole name changed, for better or for worse. For example, AuburnPelt was renamed to SpottedLeaf for surviving the plague, and HollyLeaf renamed herself to FallenLeaves to better fit her change in personality and her guilt. Meanwhile, for worse, BlueStar had renamed SwiftPaw, BrightPaw, and BrackenFur to SwiftDog, HoundFace, and MuttTail respectively. (Note that Firestar renamed HoundFace to BrightHeart and MuttTail back to BrackenFur. Maybe I'll have SwiftDog renamed to SwiftClaw or SwiftLion, for his bravery and courage.)

(Beta) Warriors Canon-Compliant Chronology - A Public Resource

Please note: this is a major work in progress

Currently working on re-reading all the books and taking chronology notes, to compile a more in-depth and thorough timeline of the Warriors series

While I currently have notes for about 20 books spanning across about 25-30 different years, this project is also currently a work in progress / proof of concept featuring just years 93 and most of 94, some of the most dense years in the pre-firestar era. I am working to add more notes all the time so check back later for more!

These pages contain some speculation, but I have done my best to use knowledge from the books themselves to approximate unknown information. I've marked purely speculative births and deaths with an asterisk, as seen in the screenshot (Beetlenose, Voleclaw, and Petaldust's birth is mentioned on-page to be a moon before Oakheart and Crookedstar's, while Lichenfur is simply shown as an elder about 10-11 years later, in my eyes making this a reasonable guess for around when she was born)

I plan for this to eventually be a comprehensive, in-depth chronology of the entire warriors series that is free to use and reference. But of course, it is a lot of work and I will be working on it very slowly in my free time.
