kinda a part two to my last post, Firebender Grian! He is good at firebending in battle but he prefers to use his bending in performances, like what was shown in the episode where we met Jeong Jeong. HIs favorite thing to do is the rocket booster/flying/controlled falling thing even if it is not necessary to use it. At least when he is actually using his bending that is. He typically hides the fact that he is a firebender when he is outside of Fire Nation colonies - which he only goes to to preform at the festivals to support his travels across the earth Kingdom.
(much longer ramble than last time under the cut)
Grian was born and raised in a Fire Nation colony somewhere between Omashu and Qin village. He was a normal kid growing up... until he three that is. He wandered into the wilderness when he was unsupervised (the person who was watching him looked away for a literal second and he was gone) he was found five days later sitting in a possum chicken coop. He was unharmed and surprisingly and clean for how long he was missing for, the only strange thing was that his eyes had changed color. From a usual Fire Nation gold to a deep - nearly black - purple.
From that moment on his life was different, he was different. He was oddly perceptive for someone his age, always knowing things he shouldn't, some how hearing conversations that should not be possible for him to hear, or staring off into space for minuets at a time that no one can seem to snap him out of... he's not all that popular with the other kids in his village. Especially after the time that one of the kids made a comment about how they hope that their older sister would be back form the frontlines in time for an upcoming festival like she said she would in her last letter home and Grian replied 'Oh no, she died yesterday, her legs were crushed stopping her from running away from the Earth kingdom soldiers that then smushed her head like a bug.' He was correct on all accounts on what happened when the news was delivered to the family a few weeks later, how could a four year old say something like that so casually much less have known---
However he did manage to make one friend when he was seven. A new family moved into the village from a different colony and their youngest was another weird kid with wrong colored eyes who was terrible at socializing. So obviously he and Grian should be friends- no Best Friends! So he broke into the kids room at the crack of dawn one day declared that they were now Best Friends and took him on a tour of the area surrounding the village, showing him all of the bet hiding spots, quiet spots, pranking spots. Eventually Grian asked for the kids name, Mumbo. From then on they were practically inseparable.
A few years later Grian showed up in Mumbos room in the middle of the night said he was leaving and asked if he wanted to come with. He said yes and they left. Years after that when they were leaving The Swamp they ran into a scared earthbender, they tried to lose him in the wilderness but he followed them until they agreed to be friends.
The editing of this video is hysterical and genius- they switch between so many editing styles to reflect exactly what kind of thing they're going for in each segment its GREAT.
Liabilities vsmp au - Owen is force-cured by Legundo and his plans to kill Avid are put on hold as he finds himself reliant on Avid's skills as an alchemist when his disease returns.
Avid yammers about various snake oil salesmen posing as doctors that he had to deal with growing up while Owen grapples with 200 years of touch starvation.
Avid: How is he more unnerving now that he's human?

“Eridians dislike earth because they abandoned Grace.” *Incorrect Buzzer Sound* ya missed the point of the story buddy! It’s not about someone being ‘bad’ it’s about the incredible power of love and that love being worth dying for!
Gimmie Eridians who are absolutely heartbroken to hear that humans where so desperate and so scared that they where willing to part with not just one Grace, there were three of them! Gimmie Eridians touched to find that the humans planned a way for their sacrifices to be as comfortable as possible. Gimmie Eridians who send earth a message saying “We know it must have hurt to send your heroes to die, but one made it and he’s safe here. We lost 22 good Eridians on the journey we would have lost 23 if not for your Grace.”
Give me humans sitting on Earth slowly coming to the conclusion that when we look up not only are we not alone, someone out there is alive because of one of us. That no matter what we think of ourselves a whole species thinks highly of us because we helped save the galaxy. Give me humans who figure out how to send a probe to Erid filled to the brim with messages for Grace and footage of a monument being raised that reads his name, his crews names, and then “in memory of the 22 Eridians who lost their lives on the journey to save the stars.”
I think some of the Eridians send messages specifically for Stratt. I think Adrien does.
“I know how hard it must have been to send Grace to die and sending him away scared. But he’s safe now. He may have been mad at you, but I’m not. I can’t be. Without your choice, I would have lost Rocky and we would have both lost our homes forever. Thank you Eva Stratt, sender of heroes.”
The new ATLA movie (i have only seen screenshots and gifs) put me in a mood so have an Earthbender Scar! He Specializes in Sand bending sand monopoly and terraforming. He's not that good in bending combat, but always has some sand in his pocket pocket sand for emergencies.
He comes from a low-mid ranked noble merchant family (a little lower than the Befongs) that lived in an area near Giapan village (the one Jet nearly Flooded) until the fire nation attacked when Scar was 7-8ish. None in Scars family (last name pending) died but his were the worst injuries. After this his family packed up what they had and left to Ba Sing Se. They are still conducting their trading business but more remotely (i guess idk how trading companies work) When Scar got older he decided to leave Ba Sing Se to explore and help protect civilians from the fire nation expand his families companies prospects? connections? something, as long as it got him out of that city and away from all of the politics, the side eyes and fake smiles, the secret police?...cult?...kidnappers?...there is so a war in Ba Sing Se no matter what you all are saying or hearing just look outside the walls you Smooth-Brained Dolts! After a bit of traveling he met an unusual pair near the Mystifying Swamp, a Waterbender and a totally-not-firebender-what-are-you-talking-about-you-need-your-eyes-checked-also-im-wearing-brown-not-red-and-am-not-a Firebender. He followed them and Did Not leave them alone until they became friends. :]
Heinz gnawed on his fingernails. He and Agent Platypus had looked over the short list Candace had written up in just a minute, and the girl had been right.
The two men getting married would be the easiest way to protect the little family from O.W.C.A.
And a whole lot of feelings the evil scientist had been pushing down quite successfully for a while now had just exploded up from wherever he had managed to shove them down and buzzed up through his stomach and into his throat. He tried to swallow them back down, but it was like doonkleberry bats had roosted in his throat, eating any words he could think of before he could say them.
This was awful.
In other circumstances he’d be thrilled to marry this man, not that he’d thought about it before, but those circumstances were happy ones.
Like, say, working up the courage to tell the other man about his stupid, persistent, distracting feelings and having them returned, going out on actual dates, learning the agents name from the man himself while he was conscious, properly introducing himself and Vanessa to that little family in the locket Heinz wasn't supposed to know about; not a marriage of necessity after a family tragedy.
“I’m only against it if you’re uncomfortable marrying me.” Agent Platypus broke the silence, and Heinz nearly broke his neck whipping his head around to look at the other man.
Age- no, he wasn’t an agent anymore, Heinz would have to get used to using his actual name. Peregrine (that was a nice name) had backed his wheelchair at an angle next to the bed where Heinz sat, which the scientist just now noticed made it so the two men were as close as possible without touching. Was that intentional?
His head was leaned back so Heinz couldn’t see his eyes, and what could be seen of the former agent’s expression was carefully neutral; except for the deep blush that colored the man’s ears.
“I-you- that’s the only thing that you’d be against?” Heinz sputtered, “Nothing else at all that would put you off of getting married to me?”
“No, not really.” He gave a little shrug, before reaching over and tugging on Heinz’s wrist to stop his absentminded nail gnawing, “You’ll tear up your cuticles and zap yourself again, c’mon.” But instead of letting go of him after that, Perry the Platypus just slid his grasp to Heinz’s hand, gently cupping it and inspecting it, studying it with his soft toffee eyes. Heinz felt himself blush violently at the gentle attention.
“That-that was just a short, I told you, wear-and-tear I was gonna get to during maint- hey now, stop distracting me!” He could have ripped his hand away, but he didn’t.
“Did the hit to the head make you forget, like, every backstory I’ve told you over the last few years?” Heinz pointed at the meticulously stitched cut that barely missed Perry's left eye; despite Heinz's best efforts he knew it would scar. “The gnome thing, the-the dresses, Ballooney, the puppets, the-I am legally an ocelot? Neither of my parents showed up for my birth? You do still remember all of that, right?”
Perry nodded, eyes still on the titanium hand he held in his own. A shiver ran up Heinz's spine at the feeling of the calluses gently massaging the synthetic skin.
“...you really love those kids a lot, huh?” Heinz's words were soft. “You’d have to, to be this fine being stuck with me just to prote-”
“Not just them.” Perry's words were softer.
“...huh?” Anything he could think to say died in his throat. Because there was no way…
He was Heinz Doofenshmirtz for fucks sake!
Perry took a deep breath, closing his eyes briefly and tightening his hold on Heinz's hand a small bit. He was stealing himself for something.
Heinz felt transfixed when Perry's beautiful brown eyes met his again, filled with the same determination he was used to seeing, but there was a different edge to it.
“I brought my kids to you, Heinz; I wasn't thinking about any legal protections for us, I was thinking of you.” There was a burning intensity in his words, his eyes, the way his hands had folded around Heinz's like he was the lifeline keeping Perry anchored for once, “Because I knew, whatever happened to me, I could trust you to take care of them. And I was right to, wasn't I?”
Heinz's mouth hung open, but for once in his life he had nothing to say.
“You’ve been my closest friend aside from Lawrence and Linda for a while now mate, I’ve known I care about you a lot-” Heinz sucked in a shocked breath Perry ignored “-but I didn't realize how much I loved you until now.”
Tears had beaded in Perry's eyes as he gently lifted Heinz's hand and gently pressed his soft lips against his knuckles in something that wasn't quite a kiss, but it felt infinitely more intimate than a kiss ever could.
“I’m so-orry,” Perry's voice broke as he murmured against Heinz's hand “It's so unfair to spring this on you. Especially since we're talking about marriage for fucks sake but Heinz, I don't-” he gave a shuddering sigh that bordered on a sob, “-I can't do this if I'm forcing you into it.” Perry bowed his head, letting their clutched hand slide to the bridge of his nose and pushing his glasses up to his forehead.
Heinz was stunned for a moment, rendered speechless by the man who used to be his nemesis.
Perry…cared about Heinz. Not as a co-worker, as person, as a friend, he-
He loved him.
Heinz didn't know what to say; he had never been on this side of-of a love confession. And in his experience this was almost always the part where the person he was confessing to turned him down. He had no clue what to do!
His free hand moved slowly, and it almost felt like it was moving on its own as it rose and cupped Perry's cheek. His thumb brushed away a few tears that had managed to escape as he tilted Perry's face so they were looking at each other again.
There was an aching loneliness hanging in his warm brown eyes, a loneliness Heinz knew all too well. Perry leaned into the touch, twining his strong fingers with Heinz's own slender ones.
Some kind of barrier or leash Heinz had put on his own feelings shattered in his heart, and he pulled Perry closer until their foreheads were gently pressed together. Heinz finally noticed he had started crying too, their tears mixing together as they fell on the hands that were still tightly entwined.
“I-I am, I mean-” Heinz's words were shaky at first. He closed his eyes for a moment and let out a breath to try and still his frazzled nerves. “May I kiss you, Peregrine?”
He got a weak chuckle in response, before both men moved in the same breath to press their lips together.
The kiss started small, chaste, but Heinz moved his hand from Perry's face to the back of his neck and deepened it. Perry reciprocated, pulling away just enough to adjust the angle they were at so their noses weren’t bumping against each other and pulling on his shirt.
There was a desperation in their movements, an unaddressed need that had been repressed for so long but only now was allowed to breath-
And then Perry jerked back with a pained hiss, hands darting to his injured side.
“Oh scheiße your stitches!” Heinz launched off the bed and knelt in front of Perry, pulling his shirt up to check that nothing had been reopened. Thankfully the bandages were still pristine white, so everything was fine.
They both gave a relieved sigh, Heinz all but flopping down and leaning against Perry's uninjured leg and the wheelchair. They were quiet for a moment, before an undignified snort came from Perry. A half giggle half whimper came unbidden from Heinz's throat, and before long the two were in the midst of a shared fit of weak laughter and tears.
After a few minutes their hysterics petered out. Perry had twined his fingers in Heinz's hair during that time, and Heinz had leaned his head against Perry's knee.
“We're kinda bad at this, aren't we?” Heinz sighed.
“Yeah, looks like it.”
“But, we’re gonna be bad at it together, so it won't be that bad, right?” Heinz stood, and offered Perry a smile he hoped was reassuring.
Perry gave him a smile back. “Right.”
Heinz grabbed his phone and sent another update text to Charlene; she had enough of an idea of what was going on, she would definitely be able to fast-track the marriage certificate and adoption papers. And she would be able to make sure nothing gets sidetracked by OWCA.
After a confirmation that Charlene would bring the paperwork when she was picking up Vanessa the next morning, the two men made their way ba-

Everything the Light Touches is a collaborative Big Bang fandom event committed to connecting Scarian creatives to like-minded people. We aim to bring together a community and cultivate an explosion of Scarian content—a big bang, if you will.
Writers will pitch a fic concept and in turn, artists will choose which idea they would like to contribute to. For the following 4 months, teams will work together to create content they are proud of—some of which may be pseudo book covers, chaptered stories, screenplays, ficbindings, and animations.

May 1 to May 31 - Sign-ups
June 16 + 17 - Blurb Auction
June 24 - Teams Assigned
June 24 to October 30 - Official Creation Period
November 3 - Posting Period Begins

Signing up-
Sign-ups will run from the beginning of May to the end of May. That is 30 days to contemplate participation.
Creatives will choose a tier at their time of sign-up. Everyone must reach their tier minimum but are welcome to surpass their goals to create as much content as they would like. Tiers will look like this:
Tier 1 - a minimum of 10,000 words or a minimum of 1 fully rendered piece of art
Tier 2 - a minimum of 25,000 words or a minimum of 2 fully rendered pieces of art
Tier 3 - a minimum of 50,000 words or a minimum of 3 fully rendered pieces of art
As soon as you complete the form, writers are welcome to begin drafting, although they will not be able to join the Discord server until the first week of June when invitations are sent out.
Upon arrival to the Discord server, participants will have a week to settle, select their roles, and complete polls for server-wide activities. Writers should have a blurb completed and submitted by June 13.
Blurb Auction-
The auction will be held a week or so after everyone has joined the Discord and when writers have submitted 1 to 2 fic concepts in the form of a blurb. Blurbs will be displayed anonymously in a spreadsheet that all creatives will have access to.
Blurbs are expected to come with an Ao3-like rating for general audiences, teen and up audiences, and mature audiences; as well as two to three relevant genre tags and any relevant content warnings. Works containing sexual encounters and heavy graphic violence will not be allowed in the main event.
Artists will then consider the blurbs and their respected tags and rank the up to 5 pitches they would like to work with in a google form. Depending on the ratio of artists to writers, artists who volunteer may be placed in more than one team.
Team Assignments-
Teams are created based heavily on the auction results and loosely on a writer’s tier.
There will be 1 writer to a team and the potential of up to 2 artists. This, of course, will fully depend on sign-ups and is not written in stone. Results from the interest check forecast a larger number of artists than writers, and the size of teams will only be determined after sign-ups close. If two writers would like to work together, please reach out to a moderator.
Beta Readers and Pinch Hitters will be welcomed later on in the creation period. When needed, the addition of a pinch hitter can be requested for a team. Beta readers will not be designated to a team and will work on a volunteer basis.
Writers - this event is not a free commission for artwork. You are expected to work side-by-side with your artist teammates and create a story you are all proud of. This is not just an event to create scarian content, but to meet other creators with similar interests.
The Creation Period-
When teams are formed and everyone has settled into their private channels or threads, the creation period will begin. The first team check-in will be July 22 and will only require proof of a written draft, a layout of scenes, or sketches. Check-ins two, three, and four will ask for different information from different tiers.
Finalized pieces will be posted in an Ao3 Collection. Everyone is encouraged to post their creations on their social medias, including tags for the big bang and who they collaborated with. Authors who stay anonymous on Ao3 are welcome to post to the collection anonymously as well.
All writers will claim a posting date near the end of October. This date will coincide with your last chapter update. If you have a one-shot then the claim will be the date of your posting. All fics must be fully posted by your claimed posting date and artworks are expected to follow these times as well. When the time comes, please discuss your preferred claims with your team. Different tiers will have different claim restrictions.
All works must be posted by the end of 2026!

I am still working on it as much as I can and I am very sorry for how long it’s taking. I will have my request open for you to ask for a hermitcraft or life series member to draw in between making the comic.
