when burned or diffused, eucalyptus can be useful for cleansing space or energy blockages. It promotes mental clarity, aiding in clearing negative thoughts and enhancing focus.
Chamomile and Eucalyptus healing bath
Magickal practice using Eucalyptus: chamomile and eucalyptus healing bath
Ingredients:
1. Chamomile tea
2. Eucalyptus leaves
3. White candle
What to do:
Brew a large teapot or saucepan of strong chamomile tea and allow it to cool to a warm temperature. Leave the tea bags in.
Run a warm bath, pour half of the tea into the water and light your candle.
Once in the bath hold a sprig of eucalyptus (or a handful of leaves) in one hand. Take one leaf at a time, inhale its calming scent, swirl the leaf through the warm water and stroke it over any part of your body which you are wanting to heal. As you do this, say:
“Thank you for healing me, I feel better already“
When you have used all of your leaves, take the remainder of the tea and pour it over your head and body (it should be comfortably warm – add some water if it has cooled too much). As you do this, say:
“Thank you for cleansing me and bringing me peace,
that I might sleep well and awaken healed.“
Take the tea bags out of the pot, gently squeeze out any remaining water and place the bags over your eyes as you lay back and relax into the bath.
When you finish your bath allow the air to dry you. Scoop the leaves out of the bath and either bury them or throw them away saying:
Hekate is my matron, and I recently have asked her to show me a message telling me what I need to work on or pay closer attention to. I keep a purple or black candle lit on the altar I have for her, and I often will find candle wax spilt over onto her altar from her candle, but not always! Only when she has something to tell me. Recently, she left me a candle wax message that left me speechless, and I am sure to her liking, and you will see what I mean by that. Here is a short video:
Needless to say, she wants me to listen more. Okay Hekate, I hear ya! 💜
I am planning for Samhain 2019! This will be my first ever Sabbat that I’m celebrating, and I am very excited!!
What is Samhain? You may know it as All Hallows’ Eve or Halloween, it falls on October 31st every year unlike some of the other Sabbats. Accepting that summer is coming to an end and the dark times are aprouching. This is also the Witches New Year, it resets the Wheel of the Year. This is also a good time to contact spirits, fae, and your ancestors due to the veil being very thin.
How can you celebrate?
Reflection, reflecting on all the progress you’ve made through out the year, as well as what you may need to work on for the new year.
Dress for Samhain, colors of the season, brown, black, oranges, express yourself and the colors of the season.
Have a feast or a “dumb” supper, have music, happiness, lots of food (meat, wine, mulled cider, squash, pumpkin, nuts, berries). Leave an extra plate as an offering for your ancestors or spirits who may be passing through.
Leave white candles by your windows (can be electric if worried of a hazard) to help guides spirits to their realm if they get lost in ours.
Some form of Divination (tarot cards, runes, tea leaves, pengalum)
Make a protection wreath (you can use cinnamon and other protection herbs) decorate it for the autumn season leaves, acorns, pine cones, pumpkins)
If you feel called this is a good time to connect with the Dark Goddess.
A wonderful time to work with your ancestors, you can make an ancestor alter (pictures of ancestors, some of their personal belongings), and you can also leave an offering for them on this alter as well!!
Stay tuned for tomorrow, I’ll be going over all of the different things I’ll be making for my Samhain Feast!!

Baked Apples 🍎 🍂
6 of your favorite kind of apples
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 chopped walnuts or pecans
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 honey
1tbs cinnamon
1sp ground ginger
3tbs butter (softened)
Salted Carmel Sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1tbs vanilla extract
1tsp salt (depending on how salted you would like the salted Carmel)
Core the apples, place them in a glass baking dish with a little bit of water in the bottom of the dish. For the filling combine the honey, brown sugar, chopped nuts, raisins, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger in a bowl, mix well. Scoop the filling into each apple, top each apple with half a table spoon of butter. Place baking dish in the oven at 350degrees and bake for at least 30 minutes, closer to 45 minutes would be best! To make the caramel sauce, melt butter and brown sugar together in a saucepan. Add in heavy cream and vanilla, whisking regularly over medium heat, for around 7-8 minutes. Let the apples cool for around 10 minutes, top with Carmel sauce and serve with a dollop of ice cream!
Soul Cakes!🍂✨
1 cup of butter (two sticks)
3 3/4 cups sifted flower
1 cup fine sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp all spice
2 eggs
2 tsp cider vinegar
4-6 tbs milk
Powdered sugar, to sprinkle on top
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the butter into the flour with a large fork. Blend the sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and all spice; beat eggs, vinegar, and milk together. Mix with the flour, until a stiff dough is formed. Knead thoroughly and roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 3 inch rounds and place on greased baking sheet, prick several times with a fork, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar while still warm!
Mulled Apple Cider 🍂🌙
1 gallon of apple cider
3 Granny Smith apples
1 orange
1 tbs all spice
5-7 cinnamon sticks
1/2 fresh cranberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup apple brandy or regular brandy (if you want to prepare it with alcohol)
Pour the apple cider into a large pot over medium-high heat. Dice up the apples and orange and toss them into the cider. Add the all spice, cranberries, and cinnamon sticks. Add the sugar and stir it around until sugar dissolves. Bring the mixture to a low boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Add the brandy if using, then simmer for 10-15 minutes. Serve warm.
Okay and now the main course is going to be Samhain Stew🍂 or if you’re closeted you can call it All Hallows’ Eve Stew (which is what I’m calling it)
Ingredients
2 pounds boneless chuck roast (can be supplemented with any vegan meal replaced you see fit)
2tsp Cumin
2tsp Salt
1tsp black pepper
3tbs olive oil
1 large onion
2 gloves of garlic
3/4 cup broth (beef, chicken, or vegetable)
6 all purpose potatoes
2 bay leaves
8 cups of beef stock
1/2 cup flour
Salt and pepper to taste
I hope everyone has an absolutely wonderful Samhain!! This will be my first Sabbat that I’m celebrating and I am so excited!! Blessed be!! ✨🌙🍂
