Tumblr NEVER touches these. (Except for Dreamworks of course because they aren’t quite as ‘mainstream’ as Disney. So according to tumblr that makes them better.) But none of these production companies have as much diversity with thier characters as Disney does and it still gets shitted on because Tumblr won’t allow itself to enjoy anything.

irrationaldisneyhatred, i need to break something to you, bc im tired of seeing this dumbass narrative clogging up the moana tag. this ‘Tumblr’ you keep referring to as a singular entity doesn’t fucking exist. this site literally has millions of blogs and guess what? sideblogs aside, there are millions of individuals behind those blogs whose opinions and actions you aren’t always gonna agree with, you see? kinda like real life! if, in person, you show a group of people something, some may like it and others may dislike it, and some may even hate it or be skeptical of it. but guess what? these are still individuals with differing opinions and reactions and not a singular being you put under an umbrella. this principle doesn’t disappear when u go online and the sooner you learn to just accept it rather than taking every negative opinion you see personally the sooner the rest of us can look through the moana tag in peace.
