First of all, thanks for blocking me, @effleuresense, second of all, I am not jumping ship. Jumping ship means to go from one ship, leave it behind, and choose another, please don’t put words in my mouth. I am warming up to Dany and Jon, but it does not mean I am saying Jonsa won’t happen, or that I don’t ship Jonsa anymore, I’ll always ship Jonsa more, always.
I am not denying anymore, though, that D&D are clearly setting Dany and Jon up, not to just bang, but to actually fall and be in love with one another, when it happens.
I saw little to no chemistry between them in episode 3, but there was plenty in episode 4, in the cave, and on the beach, and at this point I am led to believe it will only keep building up in the upcoming episodes.
I am, and always will be, a Jonsa shipper, but I watched episode 4 with my Jonsa goggles on, and still saw the chemistry, I tried not to see it, I didn’t want to see it, but I saw it anyways.
If you didn’t/don’t see the chemistry and the tension, that’s alright, I’m not forcing anything on you.
I’m not trying to throw crap at my ship, Jonsa is still my ship, and I will continue to ship it, even if Jon and Dany turn out to be endgame.
I’m not giving up on Jonsa, and on all the hints, subtle, and not so subtle, which were in pretty much all of Jonsa’s scenes, but I’m also acknowledging that, D&D are clearly planning to have them fall in love with each other, and that it will happen in the show, both Dany and Jon are already showing it, I’m not going to be in denial anymore. But still, even if they fall for one another, it doesn’t make it that they’re going to be endgame.
At this point who knows, they might be, they might not be, but if Dany survives the series, and they are engane, and she will make him happy, I’ll be alright with it, as long as Sansa will also find her happiness.
I have and always will ship Sansa and Jon with happiness, above everything, even if that might not be with each other. I care more about the characters’s happiness, than about what I want.
Wether Dany and Jon are endgame, or Sansa and Jon are endgame, we don’t know for sure, D&D might be cruel enough to give us neither.
I’m just very surprised to see that apparently I can’t be aboard of both ships. I shipped both Delena and Stelena in TVD, but I did ship Stelena more, when Delena ended up being endgame, I wasn’t mad, because all 3 of them found peace and happiness in the end. Damon was happy, Elena was happy, and Stefan was happy, but even now, after all this time, I still think Stelena should’ve been endgame, but I accepted it, because Damon made Elena happy and viceversa.
It appears that, shipping both, makes me unwelcome among the Jonsa shippers, since I’ve already received a handful of hateful DMs and was blocked by a few people. If that’s the case, I’ll see myself out. This comes as quite a surprise to me, I would have never expected such a response from a community which I thought of, as so lovely, and accepting.
I must say I’m disappointed.
