MLQC is a pretty titillating mobile gacha card game that I’ve been playing for over a year now with no sign of stopping. There’s four guys and, while there are no routes, you can go on dates with all of them and there’s some really great backstory/lore. 

Kiro/Qilou/Kira is my favorite bachelor, hands down. He’s a little piece of sunshine.

Sylvain seems like a tropey cad at first, but he has a surprising amount of depth. I really like him as a person, and I think he and Byleth are cute together.

OHSHC ended up focusing a lot more on Hikaru x Haruhi because Kaoru has a MUCH higher EQ than Hikaru and gracefully stepped aside. That, however, does not mean we can’t dream.

I thought I loved Taiyou no Ie, but then I read Hirunaka no Ryuusei and holy mother of life that series is always what I’ve been looking for.

I recommend it to anyone who has ever gotten Second Lead Syndrome!

If you’ve never heard of Second Lead Syndrome, it’s the tongue in cheek way of describing the sadness/frustration readers and viewers feel when the heroine picks the worse guy just because he was the first guy she fell in love with. Often in shoujo manga and Kdramas the heroine falls in love with a guy and something happens and they break up. The first guy usually treats her badly and there are misunderstandings. Enter Second Lead--the guy that patches the heroine up and teaches her how to love again. 

Second Lead Syndrome comes in when the heroine almost invariably falls in love with the second lead, but ultimately dumps him and goes back to the First Lead because plot. 

As a huge sufferer of Second Lead Syndrome, Hirunaka no Ryuusei healed my heart! Go read it!!

This manga gave me all the feels. I’m still drowning in them as I type this.

Mao is a great protagonist and the manga didn’t drag drama out unnecessarily and make you want to beat your head against your laptop. 

Basically I love it.
