"Ocasionalmente cuando la caza era abundante y la mayoría de ghouls eran saciados [...], encendían el fuego para calentarse durante la noche. [...] al sonido del fuego crepitante y las llamas resplandecientes, los ghouls comenzaban a bailar y cantar a su alrededor, [...], coros sonoros llegaban a los lejanos rincones del desierto."
¡Hola! Esta noche les traigo al ghoul más loco y cantor. Les presento una ilustración de su estado salvaje más algunos bosquejos de su apariencia poco a poco adaptándose a la vida en el ministerio.
Al diseñarlo (hace ya tres años :0) no tenía idea de cómo se veía por debajo de la máscara, y me negaba a verlo por miedo a romper la ilusión jaja. Por eso es que quizá este diseño no tenga rasgos tan característicos, (rastas, barba, o piel morena) tan solo decidí darle un color de piel gris oscuro; sabía de su cabello rizado negro y quijada cuadrada, y los agregué. Eventualmente lo ví sin máscara, no se parece mucho, ¿eh? 😹
Aún así conservé el diseño porque sucede que me gusta mucho. ^^

Hi there! Tonight I bring you the craziest of the ghoul singers. I present to you an illustration about his savage state plus some sketches of his appearance over time, adapting to life in the ministry.
When I came up with his design (three years ago now :0) I had no idea of how he looked unmasked, and I refused to see him without it, I was afraid that could break the illusion haha. That's why this design doesn't have such characteristic features like dreadlocks, beard, or brown skin. I decided to give him dark gray skin; I knew about his curly hair and square jaw, so I added those too. Eventually I saw him unmasked, they don't look much alike, huh?😹
Still I kept the design because I happen to like it so much. ^^
BLM is still a thing. If you don’t reblog this, but would’ve in June/July you were only in support of black lives when it was a trend. They still need justice
Hola! No planeaba que la publicación anterior fuera un tanto triste 🥲 solo que el dibujo tiene un significado muy sentimental para mí.
En fin, hoy les traigo una pieza muy muy especial. Les presento a:

¡Una escultura de arcilla, pintada y terminada!
Estoy muy feliz por el resultado, al fin ver uno de mis diseños en tres dimensiones es increíble :0
Pequeña historia: empecé la escultura durante un taller de escultura en la universidad, pasaba de largo cuando las chicas que lo organizaban me ofrecieron esculpir con ellas. Yo ya iba de salida pero no me pude aguantar y tomé un pedazo de arcilla y me puse a moldear. Las chicas se sorprendieron al ver que no era mi primera vez esculpiendo, lo que más les gustó fue la nariz 😂. Después de media hora o más, (con solo la cara terminada) les agradecí por haberme invitado a esculpir y regresé a mi casa cuidando la escultura con mi vida.
Me alegra mucho poder compartirla con ustedes 😸.

Storm ghoul from era V!
A clay sculpture painted and finished. I did this during a sculpture class in university, I was just passing by, about to go home and the students offered me to participate in the class. I couldn't help but join them, they were surprised by the result because they thought it was my first time sculpting. They particularly loved the nose 👃😂
Hope you like it, I'm very proud of it, I'm really happy to show you this piece.
For the water ghouls, I like to call their babies pups! I think it's cute. You can look at them, but be careful of those fire ghoul protective instincts from Dew
"A pesar de ser un verdadero diablillo, Alfa sentía un apego a él, cuando estaban juntos ya no se sentía como un imbécil todo el tiempo. Y el sentimiento era mutuo [...], realmente se sentía unido a Alfa como si fuera su hermano."
Hice esta ilustración durante una noche muy triste. Espero que les agrade y les dé el confort que a mí me dió dibujarlo.
Díganle a los que aman que los quieren, aunque los vean todos los días. Porque esos momentos con esas personas son preciosos.

It's FRIDAY, guys!!! 🙌 And oh, what a special chapter we have this time!! How could we possibly forget this cannon event? We have Secondo's view of that fateful night!
I hope you guys like how I'm doing the speech bubbles now.... 🫣 It takes a little more time to white them up and space out the text but it definitely looks cleaner I think! And also I think it's better than me trying to write neatly and cram everything in the speech bubble and then sometimes I misspell something and I notice it after it's too late....
This concludes Book 1 of "Your Friend, Death"! Next week, I will upload the Cover Art for Book 2!! And of course, Chapter 11 is already being worked on as we speak! ☺️ With Secondo peacefully waking up...

Terzo
After being dragged off stage at his last show, Terzo secluded himself and distanced himself away from everything and anything Ghost or ministry related. Having his eyes painted to represent part of Clergy wardrobe surprised Secondo.
Clothes
During Episode 3: Back On The Road, Primo and Secondo are VERY hard to see. They're barely shown! I tried my best guessing what they were wearing. I saw Primo was wearing some sort of plaid (which is hilarious thinking that's what he chose to wear) and Secondo had a black, maybe, winter jacket? I scrapped Secondo's winter jacket and stuck him back in the suit we all know and love. Terzo gets a nice black dress shirt!
After Sister Leaves...
In the Episode 3, the brothers bicker and talk amongst their selves once she leaves the room. All we hear is mumbles. I thought it was a wonderful opportunity for some dialogue! I also noted Terzo's frustrated motions in the episode! ...Terzo was about to make an announcement that was rudely interrupted. 😤😤
Primo's Magic
That's right!! Primo's got powers!! 🧙♂️Once Terzo went down I imagined the other two at least fought back a little bit! That includes Primo having powers! He is knowledgeable about magic and is spiritually close with Satan. Too bad they were quickly taken away...
Phil
Phil is a Special Ghoul... he has special powers no other ghouls has. One of them, unfortunately, was taking Primo's powers away. This poor ghoul... He feels so guilty...
"Para que el ghoul se integrara hubo que hacer mucho trabajo. Enseñarle a hablar fue un asunto cansado pero el verdadero problema fue acostumbrarlo a dejar de alimentarse de cadáveres."
El pequeño ghoul está creciendo :D

nadie debería aguantarse el hambre. Pero a veces llega la ocasión en que el hambre se hace demasiada. ¿cuál es su reacción?

ponerse enojambriento, (la paz nunca fue una opción)
"—De ahora en adelante debes tener más cuidado con lo que haces, muestra reverencia, no cuestiones las reglas y estarás bien [...], y nos tienes a nosotros, quédate cerca, nos cuidamos el uno al otro."
Un poco de angustia en este episodio. A mí también me puso triste el escribirlo :(
Pero les dejo estos bosquejos del capítulo para suavizar la caída :). Más un dibujito extra al final ^^.

This piece is one of my favorites, I'm happy to share it with you. That night I had some inspiration to paint again after some time, and this was the result. :D
