sabriel wing headcanons

I had alot of time to think of sabriel bullshit at work today so im so sorry in advance for the extreme sabriel posting

gabriel does NOT take good care of his wings... he only starts taking good care of them for sam because he doesn't want his wings to look bad around him (even though he keeps then hidden and away at literally all times) (and also humans cant see them or something yada yada)

on that note he doesnt trust many (anyone) to preen his wings. but one day sam accidentally caught him preening and was like "hey . do you need help?" not realizing the implications because . hes not a bird how would he know (the implications are that preening is a VERY intimate thing)

and then gabriel goes "okay... I guess" but actually secretly REALLYYYY REALLY appreciates it because?? 6 wings?? takes SO long to preen properly

gabriel starts to show his wings WAY more after this, whenever they are alone. and sam notices and feels HELLA special

also he cant fly. like just, kinda lost the ability after being on earth for so long and not being able to properly fly. sam asks gabriel why he doesnt fly around and gabriel just lies and goes "eh I can teleport" but. gabriel looks a little sad at the fact and sam catches on...........

soooooooooooo sam end up watching ALOT of videos on how birds fly and how wings work . and teaches gabriel how to fly again

he also might have found out about the implications of preening wings in this procress . but never brings it up . he DOES appreciate gabriel for being able to trust him so much

bringing this headcanon FULL circle to my first headcanon post..... sam keeps a "secret" collection of any loose feathers gabriel sheds. gabriel knows about it but sam doesnt actually realize it. gabriel thinks its really sweet but also a little weird. "whats he trying to do?? make a pair of wings for himself??"

He tortured Sam, in every way possible. Every. Way. And that still feels like a understatment.

Okay, but i actually did like the ending of s3... Like, sure it sucked that Crowley and Aziraphale didn't truly get to kiss while they were truly themselves, but seeing them as human, and in a new beginning and finally allowing themselves to love each other? Magnificent. I can understand the dissapointment, but I personally don't feel it. The acting, looks and everything said enough for me, words aren't always needed to portray love. I found it fantastic at the very least, and for me it's kinda heartbreaking to see some many "fix-its" already, but everyone is free to do what they want and understand media in their own way.
