from the moment i heard robert's hero name and saw that fuckass suit, this thought as been busting around my head - only i can't draw (humans anyway) or write, so i've been cooked extra crispy no sauce. decided to spread the parasite.

mechaman but it's like one of those damned mecha animes. specifically the ones where the suit is alive(ish) like an alien or something. is this an excuse to put robert in one of thoe slutty skin tight suits? mayhaps. but also, i think it'd be so funny if even the ROBOT was concern for robert's health.

i also think it'd be fun if each robert had a diff relationship/level of ease piloting:

robert i - the first, worked hard to build a good relationship/kinda had a friend-good cowoker relationship

robert ii - comfortable well enough till he started training robert and then the robot was a tad difficult (i wonder why)

robert iii (the goat) - yo that's my child. my SON. i would do ANYTHING for him, trust. will literally fly itself while robert does something.

before i start, i want to say this is not an attack on anyone's favorite character or anything. while there are characters i dislike in dispatch, it's less about the character and more about the writing. i love the z-team with all my heart - want to put them in a blender and shake them up, trust. the reason i say this cause, idk, it feels like you can't have a slightly negative opinion on something without someone somewhere taking it personally and acting like you've just shot their first-born child in front of their face. not accusing anyone of doing that, just making an observation.

anyway, am i the only one who thinks robert deserves to crash out on the z-team at least once? like, the way they treat him is like never addressed from what i can tell and bothers me deeply. you could argue that first team meeting was him addressing it, but it really wasn't right? it was more so robert addressing them not taking the program serious enough.

again, not attacking anyone's fav just making an observation, but that argument with invisigal after she disopberyed orders, at least before she attacks him (i did not like that part of the scene, cause from what i understand, she took advantage of his jumpiness/ptsd to attack him which i mean, definitely feels like something an ex-criminal/villain would do, but that's neither here nor there [side note, i was thinking about that scene earlier and it struck me (lol) - what if robert's instinct when startled was to instead just swing lol, that scene would have been way different]) is sort of what i'm talking about. robert, for the most part, in the episodes, kinda just takes. he's snarky and he gives their energy back to them 100% for sure, but i think he deserves to snap at them, juuuuuuuuust once

the way they talk to and about him is the way you talk to a close, long-term friend that has consented to it, that is wild to do with a person you just met (at least in my experience)

idk, maybe i'm crazy and a snowflake who's too easily offended; what do you think? :/

robert robertson the third and herman aka waterboy, my two favorite white boys

would you believe me if i said robert was harder to design?

so, in the crossover, team z (cut coupe, chose waterboy obv, and like right after robert reveals he's mechaman) is spat out in equus for whatever reason (haven't decided yet) and, ofc, they're not humans (cause i can't draw humans :/), they're ponies!

waterboy is a sea pony and i specify a sea pony cause he's not a hippogriff. he's like, an actual sea pony, not secondary form. the little seaweed thing around his "waist" is covering his gills/keeping them wet but sea ponies can also breath on land for some time.

robert is an earth pony + unicorn, earth pony presenting. he's a tad leaner than ur typical earth pony and, if you look at his hooves, he has unicorn style colored hooves (which are the colors of his mecham jumpsuit thingy in case ur wondering). ofc, he has a shit tone of scars but he can't hide him like as a human so he just has to deal with the looks and the constant questions

M6 + Young Adult Spike designs for my Dispatch x MLP crossover. that's right, i'm committing. at least for right now. here's hoping i don't lose interest/burn/get art block.

my fav design here, twilight hands freaking down - she's gorgeous. least fav prolly applejack or rainbow dash. can never draw applejack for some reason

any, in this mlpverse it's like 50 or so years post twilight's coronation. they may not look it but the M6 are like 60-70 years old. in my au, wearing the elements of harmony all the time has expanded their lifespans, as of right now, by a good like 100+ years. they're not ageless/immortal like twilight and the other alicorns but they ain't dying any time soon.

these three came the easiest to me (jax, pomni, gangle) as the goal is to make them all more "animal" like cause, well, i'm a furry-

anyway, jax is obvi a rabbit, pomni is a cat with two tails, and gangle is a snek

also, i wanted to tue everyone's design together some how so everyone gets bows/ribbons

i already have a design in my for ragatha, but kinger, zooble, and caine are giving me a lot of trouble tho, so we'll see if i can figure something out _ _
