I love movie Grace but book Grace seems more sarcastic and fiesty than movie Grace seems

Like this guys I hilarious. Right after Armando asks him “what’s your name” and after he realizes he doesn’t know he tried a random name and then just goes “bite me” 😭 I love him.

Hey so I thought we as userbase should organize spontaneous blackout protest against shapes inc ads here. I thought Feb 26th would be a good date (so ppl has 72 hrs notice if they want to participate), we would log off for 24hrs to show tumblr we are not okay with that (and also for shapes to get less ad revenue for a day in a process lol). These ads are actually really predatory and incredibly isolating for people. I haven’t gotten a lot, but the ones I’ve seen are creepy as all hell, encouraging people to recreate mutuals as chatbots because they can reply faster. And as someone who’s been down that rabbit hole before, using c.ai to “talk” to characters, I can tell you how draining it really is on your mental health. Someone’s gotta help stop this. Someone’s gotta help keep others from getting hurt.

OKAY, I've been seeing a few of their ads lately too, just looking at peoples blogs I think are cool and SUDDENLY PINEAPPLES if anyone gets that reference... (thank you t0nn1x for tagging me muahahah, I wanted an excuse to rant)

Okay. Anyways, ITS SO FREAKING WEIRD DUDE.... WHY would you encourage people to make their friends on AI. WHYYY would you SPECIFICALLY TARGET THE TEENS WHO WERE PREVIOUSLY ADDICTED TO C.AI... AND BRING THEM BACK? For, most likely, money purposes. I was KINDA one of those people? More so me and my brother would make the ai say funny things and use the voice to hear it glitch out though, but I've used it. There are some friends I have (one in specific) that was absolutely addicted to the point of being banned from using any technology for a few years.

This is just malicious and sick, so... all I've been doing is reporting the ad's as malicious whenever I see them since I'm hardly online in the first place. BUT HELL YEA, DESTROY THEIR REVENUE!!!!!!!!!! Those weirdos are NOT good >:P

I hate gen ai and addiction; shapes inc promotes both as well as obsession and increased loneliness. Their target audience is mentally vulnerable people (usually teenagers as that is an age where most self-isolation and insecurities are made) and they use that mental vulnerability to lure these poor people who are just lonely.

Their ads are disgusting.

Besides, a break from Tumblr may just be what we all need, even if only a day.

I think after every visit down to see my friends and get a break from college is a little bittersweet but my heart doesn’t break every time I say bye anymore. It hurts after, it hurts when I’m in my dorm, looking at photos of us and having to continue on even though my heart aches to be near my friends again.

I miss my pookies and I’ll always hurt when I have to say bye and only get to see them once a month and calls and texting will just have to suffice for the time being.

Had so much byler hops pre Christmas Day. Post Christmas Day I have so much byler doubt.

And look, it’s not that I don’t believe it’s canon. I believe it should be but yk we gave the duffers too much credit. Mainly bc ST was good for the first 2-3 seasons when they focused more on plot, characters and their world but when they started trying to appease general audiences or specific groups that’s when it started going down hill. Whether cutgate is real (which I’m 70/30 on it), or the duffers and Shawn levy has us believing it was a possibility and tricked us season 5 vol 2 was bad. Just objectively it’s bad writing, pacing and just overall major character assassination. Vol 1 was good enough and I hope for the finale it will bring it back but idk how long the episode is and whether the length will satisfy us all.

If byler were to become canon idk if I’ll like it. Bc it will most definitely be rushed, I fear epilogue byler will suffice so the fanfic authors can do their magic. Speaking of fanfic, I will be reading and possibly writing my own season 5/fix-it fics. It’s therapy for the soul.
