Recalling some chapters of "Great Decisions"( @rydoesartandstuff ) I allowed myself to fantasize a little about the time when all the Trolls still lived in a tree in Bergentown. Young JD's life was so hard... Perhaps he had moments when he just wanted to escape all his problems and Bergens. Soooo... I think the excerpt from the song "Out There" from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (Disney) fits this moment perfectly😁🩵

I've already written this many times, but I love our poor Johnny so much that I'll never get tired of repeating it😆

And... a few sketches that I can't seem to finish, so I'll just leave it here🫣

Ahhhhh you’re so right! There was MANY a time JD would sneak up to the upper branches, just for a minute, and try to ignore the rusted metal cage around them, and dream of what could be… He took all his brothers up there. Spruce wasnt the biggest fan, but liked looking off at the distant ocean, Clay would dance and do tricks amongst the branches, Floyd would do his best to draw what he could see if the landscapes past Bergentown, and Baby Branch would just watch, taking it all in.

But John… He just wanted to go up there and breathe. Be free.

Hey everyone! Oh my god, I haven't been here in so long🫣

By the way, I'm not empty-handed. Let's get back to our beloved "Great Decisions"(by @rydoesartandstuff). Oh, so many interesting chapters have come out in this time! We got to meet Bruce and his family, as well as Floyd! I'm absolutely thrilled!

And... Floyd on stage with the Rock Trolls singing an Adam Lambert's song! It's amazing! Could it have been better? I don't think so😆 I just had to draw at least something from this chapter! (I actually have a lot of ideas for the other chapters too, and I hope that maybe one day I'll get around to them 🫣💜)

Wow, Brozone is back for a reunion tour! I sure they don’t have ulterior motives-

aw dang it!

This started as just wanting to draw Brozone in the Saja Boys outfits, but has kinda ballooned into a Brozone villain AU loosely inspired by KPDH. I honestly don’t know exactly how they went down this path or what exactly their plan would be, I’m torn between them stealing the strings and basically doing what Barb did, or they’re allied with the Bergens and are mind-controlling the pop trolls to willingly be eaten.

For the outfits I chose, I based it off of their adult characterizations, rather than their role in Brozone.

Branch has become the leader, which puts JD in a weird spot of not feeling like he has a role. He kinda assigns himself as the groups muscle, and steps back creatively a lot.

I imagine Floyd is the one most resistant to the plan, and abandoned the group for a while. He still ended up captured by V&V, the bothers saved him, but in a scary villainous “you hurt our brother and you will die” kinda way. I like the idea of V&V being their servants afterwards.

Hi! It's been a while since I've been here😅... I've been so busy... and I've also been engrossed in reading "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" (I think my passion for heart-wrenching stories has only intensified since "Great Decisions").

I hope that now I can draw more Trolls and also come here more often🫣

Speaking of "Great Decisions," I've been meaning to post this art for a while, but for some reason I never did... I don't know why, it always felt unfinished to me. But since I haven't changed anything about it in all that time, it's time to leave it here.

@rydoesartandstuff you never cease to amaze us!!! Seriously..."Great Decisions" is literally the best thing I've ever read! And I've read a lot! I'm a bookworm 😅 Oh my God, and this feeling again! "Great Decisions" fuels me to draw fan art again!!! My idea to make a fanart for each chapter of this amazing fanfic becomes more and more obsessive each time!

Oh my god, JD is kidnapped by party crashers fooor Velvet and Veneer! How did we get to this point?!?! I don't know, but I'm so excited about this! But he never got to talk to Branch and Hickory, and it was all going so well...I literally imagined JD and Hickory hanging out together at Bridget and Gristle's wedding😭

Our poor Bitty B has so much to overcome to save JD. Oh, I know he'll do anything for his big brother! JD would do the same. I can't wait for him to gather all the brothers together, tell them what he thinks of them, and maybe defend John Dorie's good name to them (oh, I hope that didn't sound too pompous).

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the sequel all over again. The third movie is coming! Yaaaay!!!

I finally passed all my exams for this semester and can take a little rest! Yaaaay!

I wanted to draw this when the chapter first came out, but studying took up all my time😭

Hopefully I'll have more time to draw now. I definitely need to practice this more to improve my drawing skills of trolls😁

I really like Hickory's "redemption" arc in the Trolls village and I really hope he stays there for a long time. Our guy deserves a good life! And I just love Hickory 😆 By the way, it was really interesting to see the song "Run It" there! I've loved it since Sonic 3 came out! So...how can I refuse to include it in my drawing(?)))

HICKORY!!! I love that little goat man with all my heart! Ugh, and you captured this scene so welllllll I just want him to be happy! It’s been so fun to explore him as a character, and build his redemption arc! Also, you KNOW him and Poppy are best buddies! They’re so cute😭

Sooooo, I just finished reading the new chapter of "Great Decisions" by @rydoesartandstuff ! And... OH MY GOD! Now I'm overwhelmed with emotions!Was that Floyd?!?! I mean...Like, really, the real FLOYD??? Woooow! What an unexpected twist! I love it so much! I'm so excited I'm going to scream!
