Skill haven’t decided the title
Hello guys, most of you must’ve already forgotten about me by now.
I know i’ve been away for like .. forever . . Blame it on education ..
Anyways, i’m writing a day6 fanfiction and i decided to drop a sneak peek from it as a scenario just to see if y’all would be positive to actually read the whole thing.
Please be honest and numerous into giving your opinion.

Her phone rang.
Just by looking at her face when she checked her phone, Jae guessed it was Dowoon. He got used to that expression of guilt on her face ever since he confessed to her. Her shoulders would tense and a subtle frown would cover the corners of her eyes whenever Dowoon is brought up in a conversation while he’s around. He started regretting ever confessing to her, but at least this way he knows how she really feels. If he had never told her, he would still be wondering if the way she treated him was just a way to be friendly or if she really had certain feelings for him.
She raised her eyes on him, with that same frown that tore his heart into pieces. He didn’t want her to be sorry for him, he just wanted her.
She looked down once again into her phone screen and back up at him, as if she was taking his permission.
- “It’s ok, you can take it.” He forced a smile looking at her.
He knows Dowoon said something that made her smile, but she held it inside. He knew she did so not to hurt his feelings, which only made him love her even more. Her kindness.
- “Should I come ?” She whispered cautiously over the phone peeking at Jae.
- “Don’t go.” Jae murmured back to the question that wasn’t designated at him.
- “Ok, Ok. I’ll be there in a few.” She answered ending the call.
She couldn’t raise her eyes on Jae anymore. She didn’t want the beautiful friendship they have to shatter just like that, but at the same time, she didn’t want to lose Dowoon’s love.
- “Don’t go!” Smiled Jae a bit too bitterly.
She hesitated a moment and mouthed a sorry, rushing away.
Jae’s smile got bigger, and the bitterness in him made his eyes tear up. He looked at her rushing her way to another man the way she never rushed to him. The bitterness never left his face as he stared at her turning into a dot before completely disappearing into the trees at the park. A first tear left his eye, burning its way passed his cheek then dropping to the ground.
- “But I loved you first.” He said for only himself to hear.
He felt himself shrink. His already large clothes were turning too large for him. His body, despite its big height, seemed invisible. He sat at the closest bench as dawn light started peeking. The morning breeze shook the vines distracting him a little bit before he fell back into thoughts.
The more he thought about it, the more he realized it was actually his mistake. He was the one that put himself into the friend zone. He should’ve stopped her whenever she talked about Dowoon. He should’ve flirted with her the way he advised Dowoon to flirt with her. He should’ve kept her for just himself. He shouldn’t have missed the opportunity to hold her hands into his that night in the amusement park. He should’ve held them tight into his, transferring some of his heat to her and with it some of the reality of his feelings.
He had all means to have her just for him, but he just kept pushing her into Dowoon’s direction.
He knows she was attracted to him. He’s almost sure of it. He could’ve just used that for his own good and made her love him even more. He knows what she likes and what she hates. He knows almost every part of her, yet he used it all to help another man to win her.
It was now completely bright. Jae realized he didn’t even notice the transition from the dark to the light.
He weakly pushed with his hands on his knees helping himself up. He had no sleep and literally nothing to eat for the whole night. He took his phone out of his pocket only to realize that its battery had died. He slipped a sigh. Now he can’t even distract himself with some music.
He stopped by at a convenience store and got himself a bag of chips that he ate on his way back home.
He wondered where she is now. Is she still with him?
Since she doesn’t drink , he wouldn’t worry about her losing her mind and ending up in Dowoon’s bed. But what If she ended up in his bed with her own will?
He knows he called her drunk, asking her to come pick him up. What if she spent the night at his house, taking care of him?
He doesn’t want to think about what else could’ve happened.
What if he tried to kiss her? What if ?
So many what ifs were running through his mind and he had no way to get answers.
He finished the last piece of chips exactly with the last step in front his building
His heart skipped a beat when he saw a little body sat at the entrance stairs.
He chuckled a bit too loud, bothering the silence of the morning.. He loved her that much? To the point where he started imagining things?
- “Jae!” She exclaimed rushing his way.
His eyes widen when he realized he wasn’t going bonkers.
- “Jae ! I got so worried, where were you? Are you ok?” She asked grabbing his arms.
He hated it. He hated it like mad how considerate she acts, how she keeps giving him the wrong ideas and goes back to Dowoon at the end.
He frowned in anger, pushing her hands off him, looking away.
Her eyes widen in surprise from the unusual rejection .
- “Jae?” She asked trying to look at him. “Jae? What is it?” She asked again, struggling a little bit to reach his face for how tall he was compared to her.
- “You’re fucking joking, right?” He exclaimed pushing her off him a little bit too violently.
He almost apologized when he saw tears gather in her eyes. He knew she knows he is completely heartbroken.
- “You can’t just keep doing me like this. . You can’t keep burning things inside of me and come back to claiming how much I mean to you. You can’t keep giving me the wrong ideas. You can’t keep taking care of me, and sooner go to him. You can’t keep treating me so warmly, and at the same time keep talking to me about him and how much of a man he is. You can’t look me in the eyes when you’re crying, taking with you one more piece of me. You look in my eyes so deep it crosses my soul, and then you go back to telling me how beautiful his eyes are. You can’t keep wronging me like this. I’m not your toy. I’m a man, with feelings. And I lov-“
