Holiday

I’ve been a bit busy with school/work (and going to a lot of concerts, it’s not all bad) and I’m leaving tomorrow to spend 6 days in Scotland (yay!), but because of that I haven’t been very active here. So I’m going to catch up and update the boys’ outfits when I’m back. Sorry for the delay!

My rant

I just want to express here that I’m very sad about what happened with the leaked pictures from Anne’s iCloud. She was always supportive, retweeted actions and articles from fans and even shared pictures of her life with us on IG, things she didn’t need to do at all. In a world where her son’s name is in the papers weekly and his pictures are everywhere, this was the little bit of privacy they had left, and someone took that away in a very unrespectful manner. Respect is so important, people, it truly is. It costs nothing to be respectful and friendly, to care about each other, to look out for each other. Everyone on Tumblr will agree with me that social media is a great thing, you can meet people from all over the world and make great friends. But it can be a horrible thing too, because some people forget that there’s a real person the other side of the screen too, a person that feels and can get hurt because of the things we say or do. I say this now because of this situation, but I’m also talking about bodyshaming, sending hateful messages because of sexual orientation, religion, skin colour and everything that might harm someone in any way. Don’t be that person, the one who makes him/herself feel better by disrespecting others. So much is going on in this world these days and if we only showed some more respect for each other, a part of the problems wouldn’t even exist. We wouldn’t be able to solve all of the issues, of course not, but at least you can look at yourself in the mirror knowing that you did your very best that day to be the nicest person you can be.

I’m sorry that this took another turn, but respect is just something I care about a lot.
