Name: Bartholomew Campbell
Age: 57 (Deceased)
Being a dad wasn't exactly his strong suit--he tried, sometimes, came home with new books for me and asked me about my day--but at the core of it, my father just wasn't meant to be a father. He loved me and Christian, he loved Mom, but he was... difficult to understand. Hunting was what he'd been raised to do and all he ever really knew, so he just stuck to it. He died Hunting, as a matter of fact. A little over a year ago.
I miss him. For all his anger issues, for all his rules and dictations and stipulations, my dad was a good man. He put flowers on Mary's grave after she died. He brought mom chocolate every anniversary. He drove me to the hospital to check on Damien after his car accident freshman year.Â
Saying my father is a touchy subject is an understatement. Don't push that button unless you want a fight.Â
