Kanye is so quick to trivialize African American suffering and the marginalization of African Americans through slavery but he would never dare fix his mouth to blame Jewish people for the Holocaust and tell them “you chose to fall victim to the Nazi regime.” He would never fix his mouth to tell the people of Rwanda, “you chose to allow genocide to happen to your people.” Would he tell Native Americans that they “chose to loose their land and their lives to white colonizers?”

I’m not saying he should be saying these things about anyone, but my point is that he’s comfortable saying what he said about Black Americans because he lacks respect for us and no longer sees himself as a person in that community. He knows he would get heat from powerful people if he made remarks about other marginalized groups but he knows he can get away with bashing blacks for the sake of controversy, contrarianism and appeasing the proverbial white massa aka white supremacy. And he knows no one of any political or socioeconomic power will come to our defense.

Like, he can support the dumb SHIT he want to support. I don’t give a shit what he supports because he don’t represent me and his opinion shouldn’t even matter because he’s not anyone of any power but he needs to leave slavery out of his mouth because he doesn’t know shit and has no place speaking on it. Be dumb on your own time Kanye.
