So, I started out making this about the amazing work retreat I was on this week, but suddenly realized my last IG post was a year ago — to the day! It wasn’t a conscious decision to largely take a break from socials. From direct lifestyle changes (switching jobs, caregiving for multiple ailing parents, adopting another kitty) to larger events like Hurricane Ian’s effect on Sanibel — 2022 has definitely been a year of adjustment — but also one of contentment that comes from living simply and intentionally. I’ve been trying to substitute learning for doomscrolling, creation instead of comparison. 😌 But anyway, let’s jump back to Tennessee. Before joining Milepost earlier this year I couldn’t have dreamed of such a company culture — one that fosters inclusion and innovation while valuing authenticity, personal growth, trust, and reward.
