Happy Tummy at Bucket Shrimps Davao

When our fitness group in Herbalife won a contest(details of the contest will be posted soon), I invited boyfie to dine in Bucket Shrimps Davao as a celebration. Its located at Torres St., beside Bo's Coffee.

As you can see they are not just limited to pure seafoods, they also serve pork, vegetables, etc. For the buckets, you can choose from tahong, crabs and shrimps, and a choice of sauce.

Upon ordering, we were offered hot towels and aprons, so thoughtful! For our dinner we ordered a bucket of shrimps in their signature sauce and baked tahong. We really love our bucket, the shrimps were fresh and the sauce was really delicious. However, the baked tahong is just okay, its taste is just very plain, just cheese and the tahong i think. I hope they can put some texture to it just by adding garlic or/and breadcrumbs.

For the drinks, they offer a very interesting choices, I'm a bit adventurous in choosing foods so I ordered camote tops juice, while my not-so-food-adventurer boyfie ordered just a can of Royal.

This is a very nice place to dine, the ambience is great and its better if your with like 3-4 people since they are very generous in their serving plus you have a lot more people to share your bill with... hahaha!

First Ever "Visita Iglesia"

Every Holy Thursday, Catholics have this tradition called Visita Iglesia wherein you'll need to visit at least 7 churches during the day.This year, boyfie and I started to do it and promised to do it the next Holy Thursdays.

For our first Visita Iglesia, we have visited 7 churches in Davao City. 

First on our list is St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary located at Buhangin.

Next is Carmelite Monastery in JP Laurel

3. Sacred Heart Parish in Obrero

4. Sta. Ana Parish

5. Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Boulevard

6. St. Jude Thaddeus Parish in Malvar

7. St. Paul Parish in Matina

We really had a good time and will definitely make this as a tradition. :)

Day28-100happydays It's my beshy's birthday. Too bad she was not able to come over to celebrate with us. Despite her absence, we still managed to celebrate her birthday. That is how we love her. Hehehe. Love you beshy!!!

I cooked sauteed mushroom with young corn and sweetpeas. Boyfie said it was so good and I believe that he is not lying. Hahaha coz we finished it instantly right after I served it!

Day 26-100happydays A date with boyfie (again) at Bananeros Kitchen in Juna Subd., Matina, Davao City. It has classy ambiance, okay food and we had a wonderful time. :D

Day 25-100happydays Hoooray! At last I was able to buy new light bulbs for my room and for my mini terrace. Its been more than a week since the old one is no longer immiting light. Now that i have these new bulbs my room will now shine bright like a diamond. ;)

Birthday means Videoke

This post is for my 100happydays. Throughout this day, this is the only thing that made me happy, unlike the other days that I was so confused on what to post since there are so many things that made me happy for the day.

I’ve been sick the wholeday and we were not able to do what me and my boyfie planned for this day. Today is a regular holiday here in the Philippines (Araw ng Kagitingan), we planned to make this day a “fitness day” wherein we’re going to walk, jog, exercise, etc. Unfortunately, my body refused to cooperate with our plan, and had this damn cough and cold. Urgh!

When Gail texted us to spend the night at a videoke haus, I felt like a dead returning to life, hahaha! eksadzz! Well good thing I had a plenty of time resting the entire day so I had an energy to enjoy and sing my heart out! 

This is Gail, the Birthday girl. She’s already 24 but still so cute looking like a teenage girl.. hahaha
