MHA MANGA SPOILERS
About Star & Stripe and the leaks :
- Yes her quirk is totally broken, probably the most powerful of the world right now. But we have to keep in mind that she's the strongest woman in the world and America #1 hero, of course she was going to be strong. I would have a prefered a quirk like "technology manipulation", or similar to All Might still. My problem with S&S is that she is being introduced waaaay too late into the story, and to be sidelined in a few chapter. Horikoshi, why create a character like this just to delay the final fight??? We're supposed to believe she was in the same world all this time and All Might never talked about her?
- She went straight for the kill, it didn't worked because of her quirk's limitations (she apparentely has to know the nature of object/person she wants to impose a rule on, and even Shigaraki doesn't seem to know his real identity at the moment). I see people criticising this move on her part, "Heroes don't kill" etc. but ... we're in the middle of the war right now. I know that Deku is trying to save Tenko, but at the moment if a hero has a shot at killing Tenko they should take it. I 100% mean it even if I know it's not going to happen. Shigaraki is almost complete, soon he's going to have all of AFO's quirks he's extremely dangerous AND the leader of a war and of many villains who are terrorizing the country, if a hero can kill him and doesn't try to it's criminal. Every minutes he's alive is harming people. S&S was actually very pragmatic and she went for the best solution to try to stop the war. And yes Tenko has a tragic story and was manipulated into this by AFO (who should also die), doesn't change the fact that killing him is one of the fastest way to stop the war. Imagine if AFO had been sentenced to death after his fight at Kamino...
The anime when they realize quirk discrimination for mutant types is growing into an actual plot point and they probably shouldn’t have erased its introduction from the story

MHA: World Heroes Mission, new visual.
THEY LOOK SO GOOD JKZLDKOZK
Bakugou's costume is *chef kiss* (except his shoes but they're not visible on this poster thankfully XD).
Bakugou wears air max 95, a shirt with floral pattern and a belt buckle with explosion, love this gremlin's style.
Titan Deku is my new nightmare. Looks like he's deciding which one he's gonna eat.

CRIMSON RIOT!!???
Lmao it's just a coincidence I think, but the shape just reminds me a bit of Crimson riot.
About this chapter and the current arc:
imo if every chapter ends with a cliffhanger it doesn't create hype anymore, it just becomes boring. Don't get me wrong I like this arc, but in a world where people survive basically everything, how are we supposed to care when AFO explodes the house? Lady Nagant can still talk and think after being exploded from the inside.
MHA: World Heroes Mission, new visuals.
KIRISHIMA IS IN THE MOVIE I'M SO HAPPY!
TEAM FAT GUM IS IN THE NEW MOVIE, I REPEAT, TEAM FAT GUM IS IN THE NEW MOVIE!!!!!!!
AND TEAM RYUKYU!!!
Seriously though Ryukyu is 10th in the heroes rankings and can shift into a DRAGON, please Bones and Horikoshi we need more content about her.

A reminder that Bakugou has a sense of humour! I always see him being portrayed as an angry and emotionally constipated gremlin, and while that's true, the guy can also laugh and make jokes.
That's not Camie's illusion in this scene, Bakugou was actually imitating the one she did of Todoroki to make fun of him.
And he had a burst of hysterical laughter afterwards.
Also, he likes making puns: Glamouroki and Dynamight for instance.
Yeah seeing Black Whip being animated in this week episode was cool, but Monoma Neito tho...srsly look at him he's perfect.
His expressions? The watches? The necktie? His costume? He's so over-the-top I love it. The real MVP. Eccentric characters like him are really fun we need more of him.
Also, it was really interesting to learn more about his motives. He seems to be really affected by what people told him about his quirk when he was younger, adding to that what he said about being a "side character" in others life. His exuberance is a way for him to be more important because he knows that he doesn't have the best quirk. He can't be a hero by himself, he needs to have a team to copy their quirks, which is why he doesn't like people who have all the spotlight on them.
When he said that to be a hero sometimes they need to do unheroic things, it shows that he doesn't have idealistic views about heroes and quirk society (also foreshadowing much 👀).
MHA manga spoilers !!!
Lady Nagant left the HPSC because they're evil corrupted bastards who were using her as an assassin, and then chooses to join AFO? Didn't she felt guilty of the crimes she committed for the Commission? I feel like that's a recurring problem among MHA villains. Do these villains realize that they're also part of society's problems? One day they have high ideals about freedom and corrupted heroes, and the next day they kill innocent people, like okay you're not helping your argument here.
Every time I read an analysis about Kiribaku it gets me thinking about one thing.
Realistically speaking, I know that KRBK is not canon. It's "just" a popular ship with a lot of canon elements that could be interpreted as pieces of evidence.
Do you sometimes realize that Horikoshi may have written one of the best couples in the history of shonen without even wanting to? They have such amazing chemistry, like Horikoshi may have created these amazing soulmates without even trying to??? Their love story would be one of the most amazing Friends to Lovers, two people complementing each other so naturally, it's like they were made for one another.
And when he intends to create a canon romantic relationship, he gives us Izuocha? Don't get me wrong I love Izuocha, but we all know it could be better. But KiriBaku? Perfection.
It's like scientists making groundbreaking discoveries by mistake. (Or it was planned from the beginning and Horikoshi played us all.)
I'm so excited for episode 9 this saturday. Bakugou fans how are we feeling ? I'm gonna simp so hard. We are about to be blessed by Bakugou content.
Imagine being a random civilian in the My Hero Academia world. You're grocery shopping. Then, bad luck, a villain attacks you. And NOW this guy barges in yelling and exploding everything, and you're thinking: "God, another villain, please spare my life".
And NOW this feral guy wearing grenades as gauntlets yells at you to "GET OUT OF THE WAY FUCKING EXTRA", saves you, makes even more explosions, yells again, and then leaves taking the villain with him.
That's how Bakugou's hero debut would go lmao.
Back here again to rant about Earphone Jack's hero costume this time. To me, it's one of the worst design in the series. Especially taking into account how Jirou is shown to have her special style. Like, this is the type of clothes she likes to wear.
And this is her room.
And now look at her hero costume.
It doesn't do justice to the badass rock heroine she is. The author gave her a vaguely shredded t-shirt, a leather jacket and called it a day. Kinda looks like he doesn't know how to design a cool costume for a female hero without making it skin-tight.
Again, I'm not criticising Horikoshi, I know he must have had a lot of deadlines and it takes a lot of time to come up with costumes and everything. He visibly didn't spend a lot of time on Jirou's costume since she's not one of the main characters. But still, it's disappointing.
It could easily looks better by adding a few details. Like a cool "Earphone Jack" art/logo on the t-shirt and the jacket? Some pikes?
I feel like her costume lacks a concept/theme. When I look at her costume I don't see a principal idea, a "guiding line". Dunno if I'm clear lmao. The boots and the makeup look good, but imo there is no identifiable aesthetic. The "rock" look is very light, while most heroes costumes are over the top and very recognizable. I'm not saying that she should look like a rock star, but at least make her costume a bit more special.
Also, it would be handy to have a way to carry first aids/little objects, like Midoriya who has two bags attached to his costume's belt. She could also carry weapons (like Aizawa who has two knives).
Anyway, it's my opinion on the subject.
I was thinking about Chargebolt's hero costume, and while the design is cool, I find it a bit lacking. I know heroes are not here to do a fashion show, but compared to other costumes this one is a bit "boring". Like the t-shirt and the shoes are plain, kinda looks like the creator had no idea and said "well I'll just settle for regular t-shirt and shoes". Also, I don't really know how I feel about the main colours being black and white, I think that a more colourful costume would look great. Maybe with yellow and purple patterns? They are complementary colours, and while Kaminari's electricity is yellow, purple is associated with lightning.
Don't get me wrong I don't hate his costume, it's just too normal-looking to me, it doesn't give off a "superhero costume" vibe. These could be civilian clothes, while the costumes of some other characters are undeniably superheroes costumes (Uraraka, Bakugou, Kirishima, Iida...). Some class 1-B students or other less important characters have a better hero costume imo. It's a shame because Kaminari is one of the most important students in Class 1-A after the main cast, and he had an important role at different points in the story (during the Provisional Hero License Exam for example).
Also considering his energetic personality, something a little bit more eccentric would fit.
On a side note, I love his hairstyle.
I really like Horikoshi's work on MHA, and I know that it must have been really hard to come up with all these designs and costumes, it's just my opinion on Chargebolt's hero costume.
