hes had a lot of time to get used to getting ready without mirrors, so he doesn't usually bother with them even though he could technically see his reflection in them now.

he's too used to silver backed mirrors to remember that modern ones have aluminum backings. thats Not His Problem. he has typewriters to repair and comics to write.
