So I'm currently reading Wrong place Wrong time by Gillian McAllister and need somebody else to confirm, is Jen an unreliable narrator or just doesn't pay attention to anything??

She keeps saying she's a people pleaser so she doesn't want to bother her husband or son, but then when they speak to her she's like not interested at all and doesn't ask any questions whatsoever. Also, she literally keeps saying she misses out on family life because of work but then she know literally everything about Rakesh. Like why are you more interested in him?
