What's on your Spring anime music playlist?
So spring is here, and with it comes the pollen and allergies. Haha. I mean that after the colder and darker winter months, spring is like a breath of fresh air for some people. You can see the birds returning and the buds appearing on the trees. It feels lighter, a bit fresher, and there seems to be a renewed energy in the air. Things are coming back to life, and this often gives people a sense of new beginnings. If I’m being honest, I prefer Winter and the darker days. But not for extended periods of time. So while I love gardening and plants, I do tend to suffer a bit more during the early spring because of my allergies. But that doesn’t stop me from appreciating this season and all it has to offer. Like music. And by music, I’m referring to Spring anime music that goes along with the anime I've become obsessed with this season.
When it comes to my Spring anime viewing, I tend to go for lighter, cozier anime that leans heavily towards slice of life. I don’t know if it’s the season or the potential of the world coming to an end, but I want to watch anime that makes me feel good. And so the music that goes along with it should be uplifting, as well. But not only that, I want to listen to a refreshing playlist that is as full of life as nature itself. It should be gentle and airy with soft vocals and a bit of that new-season-energy.
Does your music change by the seasons? What about your anime? I'm not a music expert, but as a geek, I love my anime music and wanted to share my spring selections with you. So here's a playlist I made up of music from the soundtracks of some of my favorite spring anime. I have descriptions of the anime and why I chose these particular songs on my blog. I hope you enjoy the music!

What did you think about Captain America: Brave New World?
(movie review on my blog)
So I was browsing my geek news this morning and saw the question "which Straw Hat is the most loyal?' and hubs and I had a discussion about it. I say Zoro - hands down...
Hear me out: Zoro was there from the beginning. He never leaves Luffy's side (unless he gets lost lol) and everything he does is to fulfill his promise to Luffy.
Of course I'm only 700 episodes in, so maybe he'll prove me wrong. But I doubt it... Zoro for life lol
What do you think? Who's the most loyal?
When you need coasters to match your gamer geek decor so you decide to DIY your own. What do you think? We made our own PS5 and Xbox inspired coasters and I share how you can do it too on the blog. I've even provided a template printable for you to use so you don't have to start from scratch! More pics on the blog - I hope you'll join us and share your creations...

So I'm trying out the demo for Faefarm. I needed a cozy game to play. Has anyone played this? How do you like it?
So far I'm realizing that not being able to turn the camera on my PS5 is kind of weird. Not sure that I like that choice for gameplay...
Okay, hear me out: I am obsessed with Isekai anime and manga. You know, when a character is transported to or reincarnated in a different, strange, or unfamiliar world... I just can't get enough, and I suspect it's because I'm really just waiting for my isekai moment IRL. lol
So if you could be isekaied anywhere - where would you want to go and what skills and powers would you want to start?
I don't know if I would want to be over-powered, but I would definitely want to start with decent combat skills, a bunch of magic, and skills to hunt and gather. Oh, and merchant skills to sell my potions and farm foods. With magic, I could rustle up a home and garden and live a quiet life right outside of a major city.
I haven't put a lot of thought into this, at all!
Hey geeks! What games are you playing this winter? Cozy? Online?
Me? Lately I prefer my PC cozy games, like my newest obsession Palia. But I also like my more chaotic games to be on our PS5.
January is almost over - have you created your strategy guide for the year, yet? Okay, so it's really just a bullet journal or planner, but I am sharing how to create your own personal strategy guide on the blog. You should check it out - Your Strategy Guide for Life | 2025 Geeky New Year Refresh
