the beginning of dragon age 2 where you can be an undocumented mage in a world where mages are essentially prisoners and you need to go to a new city but have to walk through a place called The Gallows and find out it’s primarily a circle of magi where mages are imprisoned so you walk right up to a guard and say “let me into this city my uncles here” and he says “okay brb” and then some random ruffians are like “thats bullshit lets fight” and you, an undocumented mage, just start chucking fucking fireballs everywhere with the magical staff you carry on your back,

Man I’m feeling real fucking hopeless about my life right now. I’ve just had someone move to my spare room to cut down on rent because my mum (who has been helping me with rent) is getting more sick from her autoimmune diseases and autistic burnout that she’s had to severely reduce work, and I am close to having panic attacks because my sensory issues and paranoia is going crazy with this new stranger living here, even though he’s very nice. The only other option is to find a job, but being disabled and out of the job market for almost four years means no one wants me, plus the job I have the most experience in (copywriting) is being swarmed with bullshit AI jobs and I feel like I can’t breathe.

Just finished reading The Library At Mount Char by Scott Hawkins and here are my thoughts

SPOILERS, SPOILERS, SPOILERS!!!!

- Father, I could never form an opinion of you. I don’t know why you did the things you did or what purpose you have on this earth and neither do you. Truly deserves everything he got (derogatory)

- Carolyn also deserves everything she got (complimentary). I have not seen this kind of mastermindness since death note and I appreciate it. Also you and that Farah Fawcett hair do had me DYING!

- Steve truly had the most funniest, realest and heartbreaking moments of this book and I really enjoyed it. Boy bossed his way to the sun (complimentary)

- David I fucking hate you bitch! But you truly never had a chance with the way things were planned so I also feel kinda bad. Boy bossed his way to the sun (derogatory)

- Michael, I felt bad because he’s just so removed from humanity but would it be fucked up if I said that whenever his character showed up the only thing that could think of was that Tarzan tweet “was he a virgin when he met Jane or was he clapping them gorilla cheeks?”

- Erwin was annoying in the way that I do want to have nasty, disrespectful, toxic sex with that very mentally unstable man.

- Jennifer I too would be high as fuck all the time if I had to constantly deal with Father’s bullshit

- I felt so bad for Margaret and all the kids in general but damn girl rest in peace FINALLY

- last note is that I wish this book gets like a graphic novel or special edition with illustrations so we could see some cool art of the different entities, all the catalogs because we only got like 8/12 I think and visuals of the library too
