[image ID: Text reading Texas State Aquarium staff stated that the animals have been getting a little restless. One of the employees had an idea to let some of the land animals spend time with some of the sea animals, and it has worked out brilliantly.
Putting the sloths near the dolphins was the biggest surprise of all. The dolphins are absolutely delighted with the sloths, and the sloths, normally very quiet animals, have been squeaking replies back to the dolphins for hours at a time. Who would have guessed these two species would be such a great match?
There is a photo of two dolphins in a large pool, their heads peeking out above the water to look at a brown sloth, who is hanging on a branch. End ID]
As alien species encounters go, this is like the absolute best possible outcome
Okay but in the video the dolphins swim upside down like theyâre imitating the sloth and itâs real cute.

This time of year, thousands of teachers spend thousands of dollars in their own classroom. They buy school supplies for their students, activities to help their students learn more, and things that help decorate and make their room more inviting.
This year, there is a push to help teachers out and carry some of the load. This is my list, but search the hashtags and youâll find even more. We all appreciate the smallest bits of generosity, even if itâs just sharing our lists with others. It all helps. :)

hannah__chiathe recipe for these fudgy black bean brownies is now up on the blog! (link in bio if you want the detailed version but i also put the recipe below) and yes these are gluten-free, vegan, oil-free, and refined sugar-free so you have no excuse not to bake them. theyâre perfect to make as a healthy treat for this coming week :-) . . . . BLACK BEAN BROWNIES * 1 15 oz can black beans (or 1 œ cups), rinsed thoroughly and drained * ÂŒ cup creamy almond butter * ÂŒ cup + 2 tbsp cocoa powder * 2 tbsp ground flaxseed * 1 tsp vanilla extract * â cup coconut sugar * 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (important for the flavor, do not omit!) * ÂŒ tsp salt * œ tsp baking soda * 1 tbsp non-dairy milk, if needed * Ÿ cup chocolate chips (not optional!) Preheat oven to 350F/177C. In a food processor, process black beans until smooth, then add in almond butter, cocoa powder, ground flax, vanilla, coconut sugar, vinegar, salt, and baking soda. Process until thick and smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides. The batter will be very thick (add 1 tbsp non-dairy milk if needed). Next, add the chocolate chips and pulse a few times to combine, then transfer batter into a lined 9x9 inch baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until top begins to crack, and allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
The patients of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital aren't running through an obstacle course. They're fighting for their lives. And for more than 50 years, St. Jude has been fighting alongside them, revolutionizing the way the world treats pediatric cancer.
In 3 weeks, I will be running the Warrior Dash, a crazy obstacle race that will test all of the work I have done the last year! This is something that has been on my bucket list for years, but until recently, I never thought would be something I could actually do. My nerves are sky high to run this race, but I am doing this to prove to myself and everyone else that anything is possible.I am also using this opportunity to also help raise money for St. Jude as well. Â Any donation will help children and families in need, and if you use the link below, I can also earn things (like a real shower to use to wash the mud pit off!).Even if you don't have the funds to donate, please share this post. I don't normally post or ask things like this, but I've had the chance to meet families who have benefited from St. Jude, and it was such a blessing for them during some of the hardest moments of anyone's life.
Money Cats masterpost, to have your LIFE!! filled with money.
Things that can Destroy your Motivation
1. Not having goals. You canât reach your goals if you donât know what they are.
2. Choosing goals that donât inspire you. You wonât be able to keep on going if the prize at the end doesnât really matter to you.
3. Expecting immediate results. Anything worthwhile is a battle and a struggle. It takes times and effort to bring about a change.
4. Lack of support. We all need someone to believe in us and to be our cheerleader when we start to feel discouraged.
5. Not believing in yourself. As Henry Ford so wisely said: âWhether you think you can, or you think you canât, youâre right.â
6. Feeling bored. Most success involves a lot of humdrum work, and repeatedly doing the same kind of stuff. But each day brings you closer to achieving what you want.
7. Inaction and laziness. You have to work the plan before the plan will work ⊠and dreams are only dream till you turn your thoughts to actions. Also, itâs crucially important that you manage your time well, and you donât get distracted or procrastinate.
8. Being around negative people. There are plenty of people who only see the flaws, and whose eyes are on the problems, and the absence of solutions. If you hang out with them, you will lose your zest and passion, and your positive outlook will soon be undermined.
9. Comparing yourself to others. We each are individuals, and we start from different places; we all face our challenges, and work at different rates. Remember âitâs your journeyâ. Be patient with yourself.
10. Encountering setbacks. No matter how great your plans, or your level of commitment, youâre bound to face some setbacks and encounter obstacles. Thatâs a normal part of growth â just keep going when lifeâs tough.
