Part of a large watercolour I did of plankton. the reference images are by David Liittschwager, the most amazing photographer. They’re from his One Cubic Foot project.

I drew some WHMIS/ Hazard symbols

Top left: Health Hazard/ Carcinogenic material sign.

Top right: Chemical weapon. (pay attention to the colours here, they count)

Bottom Left: Explosive, duh

Bottom Right, Biohazard.

I have more, but I don’t like this form of presentation. Also I just realized I didn’t actually do anything with the explosive symbol. I should really stop posting unfinished work.

"Every day Superhero’

For my experimental photography course we just needed to use a real life photo booth and use it.

I decided to do show a clark kent esque costume change, only I ran out of moneys before I aced it.

Then i drew on the results. I only ended up showing the first two, which was a mistake as my instructor said 3 would have been better.

The third one is obviously the one where i was testing out the sharpies.

It’s 4 dollars a strip guys. I spent over 15 bucks in only loonies and toonies.

an old thing i'm now really proud of, as I cannot reproduce the skill I shaded with.

the reference painting i was trying to copy was this famous Lady Godiva one.

you can see i gave up on the background.
