Im crying because I'm thinking of baby Eli having his dad's beard to pull at affectionately, and when Derek's in wolf form, Eli also has his fur and tail and ears to pull at too

And Stiles is there, because of course he is! He's the one holding Eli half the time meanwhile his husband and kid playfully pull and bite at each other

I sometimes forget that Derek Hale grew up in a werewolf family, with weird werewolf traditions and druids and magic and a special connection with the moon.

Like where’s my (by human standards) overly superstitious Derek, who strongly believes in all things divination, like astrology and tea leaves and interpreting dreams. Who believes in bad omens and will whisper “fuckfuckfuck” if he sees a black cat crossing the road. Who is horrified that time Stiles accidentally breaks a mirror.

Who has a deep connection with nature, because his mom taught him that nature is powerful and that spirits are everywhere. Also he can feel the pull of the moon in his body at all times, changing with its different phases—it’s often seen as a curse, but his family always saw it as a gift. The Hales used to make offerings to the moon, to please her and make her kinder, but also to thank her for lending them strength and power. Derek tries his best to carry on his family’s traditions.

He might even know a couple of witches—old friends of the family—who will occasionally provide him with special herbs (werewolf weed lol) and some guidance, like reading into his future and seeing his mating bond👀

Was just going to be a quick sketch to add on as a bonus to the first post but it kinda took on a life of its own lol

Coming up with sleep-talk for stiles is just too much fun! Context for the curious under the cut

Panel one sleeptalk is taken directly from the wikipedia page on the Cook-Levin theorem i ended up at after yet another a night of snow-balling wikipedia articles about subjects i barely understand lol. I love advanced physics and maths topics, they end up with the most uncomprehensible jargon 😂

Panel two is where my brain immediately went when I learned that, in very early stages of foetal development, gravity is needed for the development of the first axis (basically how the cells can decide what's 'up' vs 'down'). My brain went 'what if someone got pregnant in zero g then - mutant babies in space!!'. There's actual research on this btw.

Panel three is a stray thought i had a couple weeks ago leading to what I'm sure is a very entertaining string of google searches for my FBI guy to go through. Unfortunately the sodium and chloride contents of the cerebrospinal fluid isn't a high enough concentration to consider it a brine, and thus the brain a pickle, but hey. One can certainly argue the point!

I love the thought of Derek sticking his face in Stiles' neck and scent marking him. Just rubbing his face all over that pale expanse of beauty-marked skin. He loves seeing the red blotches left behind by his lips and teeth and beard. He loves that Stiles reeks of him. He loves to lave his tongue in the crease between neck, ear, and the sharp cut of Stiles' jaw. Loves the cloying scent and taste of his boy.

human Omega Stiles getting married off to Alpha werewolf Derek Hale who lives far away in the North with his pack and Stiles gets there and he’s bundled up from head to toe because it is Cold over here while the wolves are always half naked or in wolf form.

Stiles sticks out like a sore thumb but he’s so fucking cute everyone dotes on him. especially Derek. everyone fusses over him to make sure he’s warm and cozy and well fed and has everything he could ever possibly need. and it’s not necessarily in a warm way either its all very gruff but very natural? as if its all instinctual to the wolves to be this way with Stiles, with a human Omega.

Stiles is like wait am i a pet or something? and why do i like it?

Derek feeds him off his own plate during evening meals, lets him drink from his own cup. keeping him either in his lap or very close against him.

at night he uses Stiles’ body and makes Stiles see stars, drives him mad with need and lust and transforms him into someone he’s never imagined he could ever be, begging for more, begging to be bred full, to be knotted and claimed again and again.

it doesn’t take long for Stiles to actually get pregnant. he doesn’t even have time to develop symptoms to find out because Derek’s nose picks up on it eerily early. the other wolves too.

now the pack is even more doting and affectionate with him. hyper protective too. even from each other sometimes. if one wolf seem too close or too bold with him another wolf will snap their teeth at them, keeping each other in check when it comes to Stiles who’s in a delicate state.

Derek is almost driven mad with it at first. won’t let Stiles out of their cozy abode for days. Stiles doesn’t really mind, has things to keep him busy but he does miss going around and mingle with Derek’s pack like he got used to doing but he waits things out and Derek eventually cools down and lets him out again. he just follows him around more insistently now. it’s cute.
