i don’t really see how TERFs hate trans women and not all men. like, they see trans women as men, they hate them for being trans and for being men. they aren’t secretly gender affirming. they hate trans women because they see them as male invaders but they still see them as men. i’ve heard “well TERFS work with cis men but not trans women” but cis men are more willing to work with TERFs where trans women wouldnt, that’s why.

I’ve heard a lot of “TMA and TME doesn’t match up to people’s real lives experiences” recently and it’s such a clear sign that you don’t take transfem voices seriously.

TMA TME matches up perfectly with the lived experiences of TMA people and TMA people are the voices that should matter most in this discussion. If you tried to make a framework for homophobia and then only interviewed straight people who vehemently believe that homophobia doesn’t exist you’re probably gonna find that that your framework for homophobia doesn’t match up to people’s lived experiences. Considering most of the “lived experiences that contradict TMA TME” come from TME people who are already hostile to the idea they might have privilege over transmisogynized people I feel pretty safe not taking their lived experience into consideration.

You clearly just don’t think transfem voices are important.
